Catherine Anne Byers

Catherine Towell was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University at College Station in 2008 where she majored in Communications and minored in Psychology. In 2012, Catherine attended Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing where she participated in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. While attending Michigan State, she won 2nd Best Overall Advocate in her first year, as well as the Jurisprudence Award in her trial advocacy class. She was also nominated for and granted the Bernard J. Fieger Scholarship, which is given to the most promising student within the Geoffrey Trial Practice Institute and made the Dean’s List every semester. She graduated magna cum laude in 2015 with her Juris Doctorate and Masters of 2012, Catherine attended Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing where she participated in the Geoffrey Feiger Trial Practice Institute. While attending Michigan State, she won 2nd Best Overall Advocate in her first year, as well as the Jurisprudence Award in her trial advocacy class. Feigher Scholarship, which is given to the most promising student within the Geoffrey Trial Practice Institute, and made the Dean’s List every semester. She graduated magna cum laude in 2015 with her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Jurisprudence. After completing school, she returned home to Texas and became licensed in November of 2015. Since that time, Catherine has been an active family law attorney, vigorously representing her clients in several areas, including divorce, custody, and child support. She always aims to treat her clients with respect and tirelessly works for their case. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two fur-babies Sully and Howie. She also loves cheering on her favorite basketball team the San Antonio Spurs!
