I wanted to make sure that anybody who’s looking for an family attorney reads these reviews to decide for themselves, but just know after you speak to Mr. Marley you’re going to wish you met him earlier. I would like to start off by saying that our Attorney Stephen Marley is very passionate about... his job and caring towards his clients. To this day he has shown great empathy and loyalty . He is currently taking on our very drawn out 5 year old custody case. When we hired him, we had been bullied by the opposing attorney for years now. That person had shown no compassion towards our kids. I felt like my ex’s attorney was just out to win and please his client. We felt like that attorney had no knowledge of family law, or how to take care of the main objective, which would be the best interest of our boys. even going to the point of trying to help his client cover up physical abuse in their home. I felt like my kids were in trouble in their current situation so we had to act fast. Because of the circumstances it’s been an uphill battle from the start for Mr. Marley. Nevertheless, he’s has been very communicative with us and has acted swiftly. We have a tough case involving abuse in the biological mom’s home by their stepdad. Mr Marley is extremely knowledgeable in this specific area and understands the fight he joined to protect our children. When I moved to a new city, I was unable to view the new apartment in person before I signed the lease (COVID). I did a video tour of the place, and it looked fine, at most like the current tenants just weren't keeping up with maintenance requests. It was clear after I spent a day there that there we...re far, far bigger problems. After documenting multiple health code violations, including dead mice, several holes through exterior walls, and a rampant mold problem, I contacted Mr. Marley for help on the recommendation of a friend. Mr. Marley was exactly what I needed. I was worried that I was overreacting, but Mr. Marley took one look through the pictures I provided and was convinced not only that the property was not in the condition the video tour implied it would be, but that the place was not legally habitable. He assured me I would get out of the lease with his help. The landlord initially agreed to let me out of the lease, but several hours later decided he was going to enforce the lease after all. Mr. Marley took over at that point, calling the landlord. Within an hour the landlord sent me a signed agreement nullifying the lease and agreeing to charge me only for the days I was in possession of the property. This was a very stressful time in my life, and it would have been so much more difficult without Mr. Marley.

Stephen is the most confident, passionate, and knowledgeable attorney I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I came to him a crying terrified mess with no clue what to do to regain control of my life. He saw to it that I got the order I needed to feel safe and answered any questions I had about clarity. He made it a point to tell me that my ex wouldn’t bother me anymore and if he did we would take any additional steps we needed to in order to make sure he did. The minute I stepped into his office, my problems became his problems and he showed it with pride. Stephen will make sure you never have to fight alone. He takes great pleasure in helping people through difficult situations and it’s very inspiring. I was under the impression that there were no consequences to individuals who choose to bully and harass others as an adult and he showed me how wrong I was. This man quite literally changed my life and he will be the first person I call if I ever find myself in need of legal assistance again! 5 stars are not enough!!! Mr. Marley was not only very straight to the point, but also honest. He communicated with me in ways I could understand. He took the time to explain to me what was going on. I do have to say, being honest with him, helps. His number one rule, "Do not lie". I communicated to him, everything, good or b...ad from both sides, my fears of what I did and did not do to keep the family safe. I did what he requested, spoke the truth. Mr. Marley is also an ethical lawyer, he was very conscious about both parties issues and concerns. From the beginning, he told me, " I am here to seek the safety of your children and a healthy out come for all of you" I know it sounds strange, but it in my case, this was important for the emotional healing for the children, their father and I. Mr. Marley is just and fair, when it came down to our request and agreements for the divorce. My ex-husband's lawyers were brutal and mean. They not only put me in a almost 5 hour interrogation, but also requested that the children will not have contact with me, I had to move back to Dallas and may other things, that only brings total destruction. In my case, I did what Mr. Marley asked of me "speak the truth", and that is what I did in the five hour interrogation and trial, the rest of it it was done by Mr. Marley. My Ex-husband's lawyers did everything to win, but at the end they lost. Base on friends and relatives input, my case was a difficult case to prove. Mr Marley presented my case and advocated for my children and me, in a way that the story was told with transparency and just. In less than one hour my case was presented and we won. We won almost everything we had requested. I only can say that Mr. Marley took his passion of advocating for families and turn it into his ministry.
