Ashely suggested that I deserved money the OAG was holding and that I should definitely get an attorney. Went to court and not only did I not get any of the money, I owed more than I was told when I had gone to court on my own behalf 3 months earlier. Five years later, I am still dealing with thi...s nightmare because even though I have contacted the office to tell them I want them off the case, the OAG’s office STILL has them listed as my attorney and will discuss nothing with me regarding child support. I have been through the Bexar County Courts regarding child support with attorneys and alone. Trust me! You do not need an attorney the majority of the time. Had I not hired this woman, who did not even go before a judge for me, I would have been better off! Paying child support and her? No! Save your money and your sanity if you’re in a situation where you need a lawyer who will be comfortable before a judge.

Ashley Butler was the perfect lawyer for me. I chose her to help me fight my child custody battle and everything came out perfect. I am so pleased with her and her work. I would not hire Ashley, she is very unprofessional and does not invest the time required to understand a case. I requested a lawyer who had experience dealing with military cases, and was rereferred to Ashley. She was very inexperienced dealing with military custody cases, she did not take the tim...e to prepare for my case, showed up 15 minutes before court was scheduled to start. She was more concerned with rushing through my case and provided bad advice on signing an agreement, that further complicated the situation. I ended up hiring another attorney who attempted to conduct damage control and fix all the mistakes she made. I would NOT recommend her.

This is the second time I have reached out to Ashley for legal help. I am glad I picked up the phone that day and called Ashley.
