Completely impersonal and -- busy with more important things

I tried having my first consultation with Stephanie and it was a complete disappointment. I explained this was a difficult thing for me to do since I have never spoken to an attorney before. As I tried to bring my concerns, questions, and story together she began to be short and very impersonal. She ...even said I was just being too vague. The conversation ended with her saying that if I was not going to fight for anything valuable, like money, property, etc., the effort and money invested in my case was pointless. This, of course, left me hopeless and at the same point where I started. I know work (any type of work) can be tiring and overwhelming but in this case, her lack of rapport and empathy did not show the creditability I was hoping to find.

Emotions are often high in divorce situations. The advice given by an attorney is often not what the person going through a divorce wants to hear. However, the job of an attorney is to provide the advice the person needs to hear not what they want to hear. It is also sometimes difficult to accept that criminal retribution is not what a divorce court will provide. When seeking an uncontested divorce, spending money to fight regarding the bad acts of a marriage is not good advice and would result in the person spending money for a result they cannot get. Instead, my advice is always to spend less on attorney fees if you can and make decisions that are best for you and your future. Sometimes that is not what people want to hear and I apologize if my direct advice was difficult to hear. I truly hope you find peace and happiness in your life and are able to move past a marriage that has been terrible for you.

Hire Her NOW

I can't see enough about this very direct but compassionate attorney. She believed in me and helped me through a terrible time in my life. I started with another attorney who wouldn't even return my calls. Stephanie will text me at night, in the morning and on the weekends. She really cared about... my case.

Thank you!!

Stephanie helped me win my case before we even really got started. She was able to help me and saved so much time and money. I loved that she gave me her cell phone and responded when I would text or call. She really is a SUPER lawyer.
