After consulting with a few attorneys, I met with Mrs. Goodbread. During the consultation, she didn't sugarcoat anything and told me exactly what to expect during my divorce. My husband moved our children and I to Texas 5 years ago after accepting a position with his company. The children and I came down six weeks after him due to waiting for the school marking period to end so that they could start at their new schools at the beginning of the new six week marking per...iod. Long story short, even with a divorce no longer pending, and witbout having to refile, we were able to go before the judge and convince him to sign the petition to lift the dismissal and proceed with the divorce. Due to the amount of time that had passed, the moment he signed the paperwork the divorce became official since we were way past the waiting period. That was March of 2016, a year after I had dismissed it . Stacy never charged me another dime after the original agreed fee almost two years prior and helped me out of the nightmare I had been living. Stacey is an excellent attorney who cares about her clients and does not treat them all the same but carefully assesses each case upon the situation the client is in. I cannot say enough about her.
