Assault Bodily Injury Married - DISMISSED

After dealing with my public defender, and the poor response I got from him, I wanted to hire someone experienced in criminal law and had experience as a trial attorney. Those are key, when facing severely life altering charges. Monica seemed like the clear choice. When I contacted her, she was ext...remely responsive in her communications. She listened to me, which is something my public defender didn’t do. She had a plan from the beginning, to fight these charges every step of the way. She was kind, but also brutally honest. I needed that. She is incredibly driven and intelligent. She fights for her clients, and she fights for the truth. Those are essential in hiring an attorney to defend you against any type of criminal charge. You want someone that will fight for you, no matter how difficult the situation. She fought for a speedy trial. She was persistent in dealing with the DAs office. And on the day of the trial, the DA approached her and said she was dropping the charge, with a motion to suppress granted. That means the domestic violence charge, would be expunged from my record, like it never existed. It was amazing. She will forever be the only attorney I recommend people go to see, if they are ever faced with criminal charges. I owe her my freedom.

She was very understanding, a great listener, and explained everything in detail. Reduced my felony to a misdemeanor, and now I'm on a Pre-trial Diversion Program, which will result in a dismissal & off my records. Huge thank you to Monica and all her hard work! She is the best of the best!
