I reached out to this attorney with the hope of getting help with my ticket. At first, he seemed nice and explained what he could do, which gave me confidence. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite of what I expected. He was quick to take my money but then became almost impossible to... reach. When I tried contacting him, he often said he was “busy” or “with family,” showing little concern for his clients. As my court date approached, communication was nearly nonexistent. On the day of court, he didn’t even show up as promised, claiming other things came up. This lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic client care was extremely disappointing. In the end, I had to settle my case on my own because I couldn’t rely on him. Hiring Arthur Simms was the worst attorney experience I’ve ever had. Please be very careful before hiring himhe will take your money and not prioritize your case. Would do 0 stars but does not give me the option.

I had a DWI and I hired Arthur Sims. He told me that, if we went to ALR hearing, my drivers license would not get suspended. 90% probability my license would not get suspended. So I paid the money ... and my license indeed was suspended. And he didn't call me to tell me my licenses was suspended.... I was notified by a letter in the mail from TX DPS. I was unknowingly driving around with a suspended license for 2 weeks. That's a Class B Misdemeanor that I don't need. I should be applying for an Occupational Drivers License. For the breathalyzer interlock on my cars, he said I didn't need to get an interlock on both cars, just one. He said I could drive the second car infrequently and it would be ok. Other lawyers said I should get an interlock on any car I planned to drive. I gave him information about my case, was promised a call back, and never received a call. I paid half my fees on time to Mr. Sims, then in the middle of the process, I decided I wanted different representation. There are no refunds. I interviewed 3 other lawyers. It turned out that the advice and recommendations from the other 3 lawyers were opposite from Mr. Sims. I felt his representation was insincere. Don't waste your time.

I called Mr. Sims regarding my grandson's case, I explained what the charge was. After meeting Mr Sims I was very impressed with his professionalism. He explained what he thought we could expect and he thought he could get the charges dismissed, he also explained the cost, it seemed very reasonable, ...as I had checked with other lawyers and they were much higher. Each time we went to court Mr. Sims explained the process and kept us informed of what our next step was going to be. I strongly believe his professionalism and knowledge of the law was the reason that my grandson's case was dismissed. I would highly recommend Mr. Sims to anyone that finds themselves in need of a lawyer.

I had a terrible time getting in touch with Arthur throughout my case and eventually fired him. He was always very short and dismissive when we spoke; I always had just enough information to keep paying him $200 per court appearance. It took raising my voice with him in order to see my plea-bargain a...nd even the police report of my ticket.
