Complete Joker
I failed to appear on my court date, for that they were useful and represented me on my behalf (like a lawyer is supposed to do). However, when I took a day off of work to pay my court fee that was a deal 'supposedly' cut by the lawyers. When I showed up to the courthouse, the court had no knowled...
We are sorry that you felt you were "left holding the bag" but you missed your court date and Mr. Markowitz was still able to stop the prosecutor from issuing a Failure To Appear. Despite your absence, Attorney Markowitz was able to represent you and continue the case for another date. Yes, we did request of you an additional $50 for the attorney to make another round-trip to Galveston, but that service was optional. You chose to go at it alone and unrepresented. The fact that you encountered unprofessional court clerk behavior towards you is regrettable. Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is never go to court, especially a criminal or traffic court, without an attorney.

Excellent service, good communication
I have been involved in accident and was at fault, made a wrong turn. Our family just arrived to country and we still were carrying non-US driver license. At the time of an accident officer refused to check if my license was a valid one and I have received - no driver's license ticket in addition to ...

Investing in this attorney is money well spent!
Scott is very knowledgeable in traffic tickets. I haven't had many tickets in the past but this time I was going an alleged 102 in a 65mph zone. Now I've done some research in this area and defensive driving is not an option over 25mph and also deferred adjudication is not an option for such flagrant...

"Scott goes above and beyond for all of his clients. He is willing to go to trial and uses this to his advantage in resolving cases for his clients. I refer all traffic ticket matters to him."
"When I was the head prosecutor for all of the Montgomery County JP courts, I regularly interacted with Scott Markowitz as opposing counsel. He's a tremendously knowledgeable and conscientious attorney who always looks out for his clients. I found him to be a worthy adversary and someone I respect. Now that I'm in private practice, I routinely refer traffic ticket cases from Houston and Harris County to him because I know he will do a great job."
"I asked Scott to help with a client recently when a client who I represented on a felony had several class C violations in another county. He was attentive, conscientious, and a very good communicator. Those qualities not only made it easy to work with him, but also caused him to get a great result for our client. Scott is the (traffic) man. I endorse him."
"I refer all of my speeding/traffic ticket cases to Scott Markowitz. He knows the transportation code backwards and forwards, and is popular with court staff because of his affable personality and commitment to this clients."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Scott is very diligent and attentive to his work. He is active in the affairs of the Municipal Bar Associations and keeps a strong pulse of the goings on in Austin regarding Municipal Justice Matters in Texas."
"Scott Markowitz is truly the "traffic ticket man.com". I have referred several clients to him and he has produced great results. I endorse this lawyer's work."
