Mark Metzger III

Mark has been nothing short of the best lawyer I could have ever asked for. He is not only amazing at what he does but he is extremely passionate in helping people and that shows in his performance. His work without a doubt speaks for itself. I would and do recommend him to ANYONE who is in need of a... criminal defense or personal injury lawyer. He does not settle nor compromise his goal in every case he represents. He will fight until he can get what he came to do. Mark is extremely talented and his work is very impressive. Everyone knows him for his good works and his is highly respected in the court room. My boyfriend and I were charged with possession of marihuana and although our case was drawn out over the course of a year it was well worth it because Mark did not let us settle for anything short of a dismissal, and that is exactly what we got. Both cases dismissed. Follow rules & procedures, always tell the truth, attend your court dates, let Mark do his thing and I promise you will be happy he is YOUR lawyer and not anyone else. Not to mention Mark is twice the size of the average human so that big buff dude coming in the court room to represent YOU... feels pretty good in light of whatever you're going through. When I hired Mark Metzger as my lawyer I felt safe and confident that everything was going to turn out right. Mark is the only lawyer I've had and he is the BEST lawyer out there. Mark got two of my cases dismissed, about a year ago he fought for my DWI case, he was supportive of my situation and got... it dismissed, and not long ago he got my POM case dismissed in the first court date.. I was terrify to be dealing with both of this cases and Mark Metzger gave me confidence at all times that everything would be fine. Mark is the most reliable lawyer, no matter at what time I called him he answered me, morning through night time. There isn't anyone I would had rather have by my side fighting to keep my record clean but him, he is very professional, sharp, diligent, dedicated and responsive. He definitely goes the extra mile. Mark was the only attorney that I ever had who took phone calls after he got the money for his retainer . Not only did he take calls he would take them after hours , he wasn't like the typical attorney who told you you had golden case then after the retainer said oh my the prosecutor has some really ...great evidence against you you should plead guilty ! That said take a moment to look upon his background this man not only is a Marine his military occupational skills included intelligence where he worked with certain government agencies I called them alphabet agencies , but if you do this type of work you can't be just average intelligence , you can't be just extremely smart , you have to be beyond brilliant to work with the agencies he worked with while he was in the military and of all branches of the military of course he had to pick the very best the United States Marine Corps , if you read his biography above he is being modest on what he let's people know , perhaps that's due to classified information but one thing I will say is for being a brilliant lawyer he is also a great guy a man with integrity who is very honest ! In my case he had a possession of dangerous drug charge dismissed before the prosecutor even got a chance to get even begin to get a grip on what Mark was doing , when I say that it was nothing on ethical or illegal it was just simply brilliant on his part as a defense attorney . I could go on and on about how wonderful of an attorney Mark is and how he's not the type just to snatch your retainer and try and get you off his docket . He was also such an amazing individual that I found myself in the hospital with a kidney infection , while this took place a nurse found a few perscription pills in my pocket which I did not have the bottle for incidentally some gung ho rookie cop showed up and was waiting for me to be discharged so he could arrest me , I made one phone call that one phone call when I made that call the phone only rang 2 times and Mark answered . Within 45 minutes he dropped everything he was doing and he was at my bedside in the hospital he made a trip to my house gather the prescription bottle and made sure that I was not taken to jail by this rookie excited by four tiny tablets of MY Rx medication. Most lawyers would charge an arm and a leg can do this , obviously it would have revoked my bond and put me through the terrible processing at Harris County Jail however Mark Metzger even gave me a ride home and would not accept even gas money the only charge for keeping me out of jail and avoiding yet another case was just for him to have a good talking to me about some stupid things in decisions I was making in my life , he didn't belittle me he didn't treat me like a child he just told me man to man about some choices I have been making and frankly most lawyers don't give a s*** ! However mark is not most lawyers if you don't have a good attorney mark is not a good attorney he is a great attorney don't hire a good attorney hire a great attorney ! One thing I also liked about Mark he drove on his day off to meet me because of my busy schedule when he took my original case the one that he got dismissed then to top that off the best kind of case is the one you never get and that's exactly what he did at the hospital it kept me from getting my bond revoked and getting a new charge I had no one else in town no family and if not for him I would have been in that zoo of a jail Harris County going through a terrible processing and eating their terrible food probably would have been set with a no bond or at least initially a no bond and then a much higher bond set for the one revoked . Mark didn't let that happen ! The great thing about my experience with Mark not only did he end up getting everything taken care of he got my possession of dangerous drug case dismissed and kept me from getting a new case he did this all for a very reasonable price. Mark did a great job at getting my Possession of Marijuana charge dismissed. From the beginning, he kept me well informed of the situation and was able to keep my mind at ease. He was able to explain the law to me in a way I could understand. He was well prepared for the hearing. He knew the facts of... the case and the laws that applied. The judge found no probable cause and dismissed the case! The attorney fees may be a little on the high end, but are well worth paying to know you have the right person on your side.
