Steve Oliver Gonzalez

This law office is fantastic. A lot of the reviews I saw, were regarding DWIs, but he handles other offenses as well. We did not have a DWI case but a case that could have harmed our child's future. From the receptionist to the attorneys themselves, an otherwise horrible experience was handled with... respect for our family. They were so patient with us. I know that this situation put the family, especially our son under extreme stress. We had never been through this before. Every single bit of advice they gave us was right on the money. Every step they told us we should expect, happened. They kept in contact with us on any changes. They did not rush the case, they made sure they had every piece of evidence that was out there to prove our case. That is not only a smart attorney, but a great business practice. Oddly, when we were told our son's case was dismissed it almost felt like you were leaving a family. If you can imagine that, but that is how important they made you feel. As if you were their only client. I also must let you know that we had no hesitation of going to trial with Steve or Christina if that would have become necessary. Honest and to the point. I am not saying they walk on water, everyones case is different but I do feel if you need help, this is the place you need to go to first.

I was very impressed with Steve and his entire staff; when I called Steve's office, I was extremely upset that I hired an attorney prior to Steve who was ill-prepared to represent me or anyone else. To add to my frustration, I paid this other attorney in full and his services were lackluster to say ...the least. So, I called Steve's office and spoke with Malinda; after explaining my legal situation as well as my experience with the previous attorney, she immediately asked that I come in for a consultation with Steve. Malinda was very positive and extremely knowledgable about the law and all ancillary possibilities surrounding my case. She assured me that Steve would work hard and also advised me of his success rate in such cases; especially situations where there should not be a case to begin with. Malinda advised that she understand I had just paid another attorney in full and offered me some payment options that were very reasonable. Also, I would call sometimes to speak with Tammy and she was always very kind and informative about everything. I met with Steve and he was the consummate professional. His consultation was very detailed and he asked a lot of pertinent questions. After explaining the details of my case to Steve and answering all of his questions, I left his office that day with no doubt in my mind that I would be afforded the best possible outcome for the pending case. I was impressed with his energy, skill, intellect, and ability to calm the nerves of some one facing a criminal charge. Steve took over my case after I had been to court with another attorney several times (a very inept attorney) and I immediately witnessed my case move in a positive direction based on the facts. Throughout the process, Steve was positive, engaging, and always informative. I would highly recommend Steve Gonzalez as an attorney!!

Mr. Gonzales consulted with my family on March 15, 2017 on a case dealing with my son that had previously been with another lawyer. Mr. Gonzales believed he could help us out and at the point that I was I was hoping he could as well. Background on the case is my son, who is now 18, has been put in ...jail for violating his probation and was being made to go to drug rehab for his punishment. However, this punishment was supposed to happen within 10 days of being in jail and my son sat in jail for an additional 6 months. Feeling discouraged and our attorney at the time wasn't helping much we set out for the knowledge and legal expertise of Mr. Gonzales. We hired Mr. Gonzales the next day after he visited with my son in jail and told us what he believed he and his legal team could do. Not even a week later on Monday March 20, 2017 my son was back at home and was not having to go to the rehab. The turn around speed, always keeping us informed and just the per professionalism of Mr. Gonzales and his team were beyond expectation.

Steve was able to get me a bond on a felony probation revocation which is unusual or damn near impossible. I later signed for two years in drug court versus state jail. At times, I was upset because lack of verbal communication or availability on answering some of my concerns. Steve is well known a...nd well versed in the game of Texas Law. We all know justice isn't fair nor blind, therefore you get what you pay for. My particular county is small and in my opinion has a good old boy mentality. Steve is very good salesman in addition to good attorney. Which is required for a positive outcome.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Steve Gonzalez and his law firm. I contacted him in November of 2016 and hired him the next day. He took the time to explain all the facts of my DWI case and the impact of each of the steps along the way. He is very knowledgeable about DWI laws and ...I always felt he had my best interest at heart and I am pleased with the dismissal of my case.
