Steve Oliver Gonzalez

Steve is busy - no doubt, and sometimes it was scary to go through this process (being charged with a felony 2 possession) and looking at 2-20. I sometimes wanted communication about the process and what-not and Steve is busy working on his other clients. (and from what I see, when I say working I ...mean WORKING) That's when I told a friend of mine about this communication thing and he said "good - you hired the perfect attorney". When it comes time for him to focus on you - he'll nail it. And so, wait I did, the system is slow and frustrating. Finally though, I was offered a decrease plea bargain to a misdemeanor A with 2 years probation. I took it. I'm now on mail-in probation and life is soooo much less stressful. I truly hope (and plan) on never having to deal with court case again, but if I do, I'd hire Steve and his whole amazing team again without question.

I found myself in trouble in July of 2015, went to court in April 2016 and had another attorney. Wish I had learned about Steve O Gonzalez, things probably would've been different. I ended signing for 3 years as deffered adjudication for possession of control substance less than a gram of thc concen...trate in Brazoria County. Around August I was arrested for reckless driving on my to work as I was late and not paying attention to my speed. Because of that arrest my probation officer sent a motion to adjudicate guilt to the judge. I wanted a different attorney than I had for my possession charge and a good friend told me to go talk to Steve O Gonzalez. Months went by until a no-bond warrant was issued for the motion to adjudicate guilt. Steve set me a date to turn myself in so I wouldn't spend much time in jail. The judge reinstated my deffered probation with no punishment. I was in shock I've been on probation in my late teens and early twenties and always received extra punishment for any motion. I was then moved to the other court room for my reckless driving charge where I plead guilty and only had to pay a small fine and take a defensive driving course. I recently landed myself in some more trouble and immediately hired Steve O Gonzalez again. He is reassuring, easy contact and the best attorney I've ever dealt with and I have used a handful of attorneys in my younger days. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Gonzales consulted with my family on March 15, 2017 on a case dealing with my son that had previously been with another lawyer. Mr. Gonzales believed he could help us out and at the point that I was I was hoping he could as well. Background on the case is my son, who is now 18, has been put in ...jail for violating his probation and was being made to go to drug rehab for his punishment. However, this punishment was supposed to happen within 10 days of being in jail and my son sat in jail for an additional 6 months. Feeling discouraged and our attorney at the time wasn't helping much we set out for the knowledge and legal expertise of Mr. Gonzales. We hired Mr. Gonzales the next day after he visited with my son in jail and told us what he believed he and his legal team could do. Not even a week later on Monday March 20, 2017 my son was back at home and was not having to go to the rehab. Steve was able to get me a bond on a felony probation revocation which is unusual or damn near impossible. I later signed for two years in drug court versus state jail. At times, I was upset because lack of verbal communication or availability on answering some of my concerns. Steve is well known a...nd well versed in the game of Texas Law. We all know justice isn't fair nor blind, therefore you get what you pay for. My particular county is small and in my opinion has a good old boy mentality. Steve is very good salesman in addition to good attorney. Which is required for a positive outcome.
