She means business

Ms. Ketterman is strict in her guidelines for representation and she makes it clear that if you don’t follow them then she is not the attorney for you. She is difficult to reach, but her staff is always available. I would hire her again and again, not easy to talk to, but I need an attorney not fri...end or babysitter!

Not as advertised

My husband and I hired Julie Ketterman in Fall 2015 to represent us in seeking custody of our granddaughter. Before paying the $5000 retainer, we were assured that the time sensitive manner of our case would be a top priority and receive her firm's full attention. After paying the retainer, we would ...only hear from her two times despite countless attempts on our part to obtain information on the progress of the case. When we first approached Julie, our daughter (the mother of our newborn granddaughter) was in a rehabilitation clinic and set to be released the following week. We expressed the importance of achieving communication with her prior to her release from the clinic. Julie assured us that she could accomplish this despite the visitation restrictions at the clinic. She never spoke or met with our daughter and did not contact us until the following week to say her phone calls had not been returned (although she had promised to drive to the clinic in person), but that she was still optimistic with our case and would contact us soon with more information. After several weeks of unanswered emails and phone calls trying to figure out what the next steps would be, a paralegal at the firm called and explained he was taking over the case. He apologized and said that he was taking over after several other paralegals were relieved from their positions, but that he would make sure the case received appropriate attention moving forward. Again, we were assured we were a top priority and that we would be updated on any and all future progress. We heard from him again the following day, confirming he was pulling the details of the case together, but communication after this point also stopped. We contacted the firm several more times to no avail before firing Julie Ketterman and losing the $5000 retainer. The very painful and exhausting process of seeking custody of our granddaughter was unfortunately only worsened by the unprofessional and unethical hiring of Ketterman's firm. I can only hope that this account will spare others from the frustration and disappointment experienced by my family.

A God Send - Excellent Represention

I hired Ms. Julie to assist in a Cps matter involving my 13 month old daughter, and was completely satisfied with her representation and services. She offered me priceless guidance and information, at an affordable rate. Her assistant AJ and her were there every step of the way, and clearly provided ...sound advice which I followed. They offered hope and comfort at a time when I felt completely helpless - and they delivered results. I now have my daughter back and Cps is completely out of our lives. It is vital that you retain sufficient representation in these circumstances. If you are involved in a Cps matter you need Ms. Ketterman's advice and expertise! Trust me, you need her on your side.

Worth every penny

She can and will help you fight for your childs rights and your rights as parents. I consulted another attorney before hiring Ms Ketterman and they told me I was pretty much screwed as far as getting my daughter back. At the first consultation with Ms Ketterman she told me she would get my daughter b...ack....at the first court date she had CPS return my daughter....my case closes the end of this month. Thank God for Julie, her assistants , and paralegals. If you know CPS was wrong for what they did she will do everything she can to make it right.

Freaking BEST LAWYER EVER

Best lawyer ever! You do get what you pay for! That being said we had a baby lawyer spent 2500 dollars on him for him to sit in a Cps meeting to tell us to do what they said, EVERYTHING they said. We got Rid of him and got Julie, best money ever spent. For people who give her bad reviews it's usually... because they don't feel it's worth spending all this money for your kids back from Cps, and that's usually where I sit back and laugh at the fact that your even trying to fight for your kids back, i would have spent a million dollars for my step kids! She does her job and she does it well. She's only missed one court date for a emergency but sent Scott who was an amazing lawyer that still got us everything we wanted. You also have to remember some people who hire her actually did things the best lawyer in the country can't get them out of but Julie goes for the best outcome, if you do what is told!. She knows the law and knows it well. If you wanna actually listen, pay for a great lawyer and get the best outcome of the situation you need to hire Julie. If you don't wanna spend money on getting your kids back go to a baby lawyer. Pretty sure they will be glad to take a small amount of money to walk you thru to get you nothing. Hire Julie if you want the best outcome! By the way; our kids are home with us and will continue to stay thanks to Julie! :)
