No Power in Court! Does not know how to speak up on your behalf! AVOID!

Only good with filing paperwork...He has not litigation skills at all and very scared or nervous to speak up in court. Poor listening and retaining skills.. He will just sit back and watch your case go down hill and do nothing to help you. He will not speak up when he should and when he does, he read...s from a script of questions. Very slow to respond and will never take the lead and will avoid conflict at all cost. Out of his league as a attorney and has the nerve to be high priced . SMDH! Very dissatisfied client..

As I recall, this client actually won the case and won custody of the teenage child. As an attorney, we are required to follow the Texas Rules of Professional Responsibility. These rules govern how we conduct ourselves with the Court, opposing counsel and opposing parties. Clients caught up in tumultuous custody cases don't really care about these rules, but attorneys and judges do. In the end, the facts, the relevant evidence, and the law prevailed in favor of this client. Despite the poor rating, I would represent this client in the future.

Tony helped me through a difficult mess that I had been avoiding for years.

I was living separated from my spouse for many years, avoiding the headache of finding another attorney since the first attorney I hired took my money and never finalized the divorce. Tony helped to decipher the mess that the first attorney made and finalized everything. He also did it for less mone...y then the first attorney charged.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
