Excellent Attorney

Even though Dawn Allison does criminal law she agreed to help me with a real estate contact. She did an excellent job and was reasonable on her fee. I hope I never need a criminal attorney but if I did I was sure use dawn Allison.

Criminal defense lawyer | Feb 05

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Dawn is conscientious, hard-working, smart and pleasant to work with. As a former prosecutor in her home county of Wharton County, she is especially a go-to person. She is also very plugged-in in the neighboring county in which I used to be a prosecutor, Matagorda County, Texas. She has extraordinary "people sense," a powerful talent in cases related to family conflict or, really, any jury matter."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
