I cannot put into words how much Anthony Segura has done for me! Anthony has managed to save my life twice on two separate DWI Charges. On my first DWI charge I researched every lawyer and visited them. After I met Anthony, I knew he was my guy, although he did try to make me feel better saying th...at it could happen and does happen to anyone, doctors, lawyers, investment bankers, it could literally happen to anyone. He knew I was not paying him to make me feel better; I wanted to get straight answers and work with on any way he could get the case dismissed. I was so depressed, and felt that everything I had done in my life would be ruined because of one night of celebrating with friends for getting into my top pick of graduate schools. That night I went out and me and my friends partied and drank like no other, although I felt fine and was so happy it all came to a crashing halt when I got pulled over for speeding which then then led the cop to smell the alcohol on my breath, I took the breathalyzer test and all other test and failed miserably. I found I blew a 1.7 bac which is twice the legal limit and I thought there was no way I could walk from this horrible incident without it ruining my life. Anthony told me straight it looked bad but he reviewed the video tape analyzed the report and researched the hell out of the case. It turns out after watching the video Anthony picked up several things the arresting cop had done incorrectly, he knows DWI law in and out better than any cop out there. After finding these mistakes made by the arresting cop, he presented them to the DA who finally had no choice but to dismiss the case and plea bargain it down to a minor traffic ticket. This is the first time Anthony saved my life. Well 5 years later while only half a mile from my home I was driving home from a friend’s house after a night of drinking, I was tired and still felt woozy from the night before’s drinking. I ended up hitting a parked car and fell asleep while waiting for a tow truck, but before the tow truck got there two officers woke me up while I was behind the wheel and proceeded to question and accuse me of being drunk. I remembered what Anthony had told from the last DWI years ago, refuse everything and call him. I did exactly that. Anthony managed to save my license, get the case dropped down to a minor ticket without going to trial. Anthony had saved my life again!! He is outstanding, just the facts kind of person, he did everything he said he would, and got the decision I wanted. I recommend Anthony Segura to all my friends even my friends who are cops who people call to ask advice from. They all recommend Anthony! To anybody in need of an attorney, do yourself the best thing you could ever do besides not driving save Anthony Segura’s number in your phone and call him right after. If you are looking for sympathy, find another lawyer or talk to your friends this is not the guy. After having had a couple of beers, a routine pull-over because one headlight had burnt out became the start of a legal ordeal that lasted from Oct. 2009 to July 2011. It was stacked-odds against my getting out of this one. The overzealous cop wanted an arrestand a conviction at all cost, and did al...l he could to get one. His arrest report was VERY damaging and mostly untrue. On my part, i had never been in any form of police problem. Standing out there, taking instructions for sobriety tests, i was way more scared of where i could potentially end the night than focussed on the here-and-now. That did not look too good on video. Added to these are that there were important disclosure materials that could help my case that went 'missing' from the D.A.'s office, or that they declared never existed in the first place. He was very personable, strong, assured, confident. This was his turf, and i guess he expected very few surprises if any. He had seen it all. We did not have much to work with, but Anthony made every single disadvantage we had amount to something in that courtroom. He was impressive with his directs and simply unbeleivable on his re-directs. By the time the first day of hearings was over, the prosecuting team offered a discontinuance. One day! ...and we were done. The judged joked that Anthony was so good he could have made the arresting officer admit to ANYTHING. You need that kind of lawyer in your corner. The courtroom is a pretty scary place especially if you are the accused. When weights of DWI legal 'evidence' is stacked against you, you need the best legal assistance you can get.
