When we hired Mrs. Nieves back in 2017, she was very helpful and specific with the process and steps that my husband and I would have to take in order for him to be able to obtain his residency card. Through each step, Mrs. Nieves would walk us through what to do and what documents to collect. She wa...s very honest and realistic as to how much time we would have to wait for each of the steps and we really appreciated that. Even when we were losing patience, she was very comforting and explained the process to us and why it was taking so long. Finally, even when my husband was waiting in Ciudad Juarez, Mrs. Lawrence and her associates called me and walked us through every step of the way. Attorney Nieves Lawrence helped me obtain my permanent residency. She was highly recommended to me by a close friend, whom she also helped obtain his permanent residency. During the consultation, Nieves Lawrence was very professional and explained in detail the process, fees and amount of time to ...complete the process. She also answered all my "what if" questions and the concerns I had. She is up to date with all the changes in immigration law and did not "oversell" or made any promises about the process. She was frank about my situation and I trust her advice and decisions. When DACA was passed, her office was really busy and she did not have appointments available within 2 months so I can ask her a few questions. However, this is logical and completely understandable and her team informed me that as a current client I had the freedom to walk in her office at any time to speak with her (which I did). Nieves Lawrence also helped my sister with her Citizenship as well as the permanent residency process for her husband's parents as well as our parents. Another sister unfortunately hired another lawyer without doing her research or asking for recommendations and her experience was NOT great due to her attorney's lack of professionalism and inability to walk in or make an appointment with him to discuss her concerns. Ultimately she fired her attorney and followed my advise and hired Nieves Lawrence. Overall, we are completely satisfied with Attorney Nieves Lawrence's services and professionalism.
