Terrific Immigration Lawyer

Alexus did an excellent job handling our case from introductory meeting through application, interview and final approval. We felt very supported and informed not to mention he is very nice to work with. Highly recommend. Thanks again Alexus

Un-communicative

I’ve been afraid to write this review for years, because I didn’t want to seem ungrateful, but I have been trying to contact this lawyer for two months now with no answer, so this has now reached a level where I would feel it’s irresponsible if I don’t warn other people and prevent them from having t...he same unpleasant experience as I did. Let me be clear however: I did get my green card with this lawyer’s help. But I cannot recommend him in good faith because of his lack of organization/administrative skills, and communication skills. We had more appointments than necessary, because instead of giving us a list of documents from the beginning, we’d arrive to the meeting with the single document he requested, only for him to send us out to get yet another document and schedule yet another appointment where he’d tell us about yet another document we needed to bring next time, and so on. Other times he just forgot to tell us to bring certain documents and thought we already had them. It was quite odd, like he wasn’t “there" all the time. One time we made an appointment and he plain forgot, so we had to reschedule after we arrived and he wasn’t in his office. (Which under normal circumstances would be easy to forgive, but given all the other hiccups…) After the appointments were over, anytime we needed to contact him, it was never a straightforward experience. Texts, e-mails, phone calls, voicemails, we’d have to try all four before we finally got ahold of him, if that (sometimes he’d answer days later, even weeks, sometimes he wouldn’t answer at all). And even respecting the fact that lawyers are busy people with many clients and many responsibilities, a simple “read” receipt, or “I’ll get back to you in a couple of days” would have sufficed. Or simply hiring a secretary or an assistant would have made all the difference in the world. (For reference: last night I contacted four other immigration lawyers in the area and they all answered within 12 hours.) The only time this lawyer was consistently communicative was when he sent me many e-mails requesting that I leave a review, which again, I was afraid to do because of my bad experience. I now have to wonder if he is avoiding us because we never left a review? However, considering we're in a pandemic, I do hope his disappearance is not corona-related and that he’s okay. Did I get a green card? Yes. But it wasn’t a smooth experience, and given the crippling anxiety that the immigration process entails, I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone else going through this. The process is already stressful enough by itself without adding an unreliable lawyer to it.

Honest, prompt, supportive immigration help

I would recommend Alexus to anyone who has either a question regarding immigration or needs representation. He’s been very helpful providing guidance for my naturalization application and interview. What I enjoyed most about working with Alexus has been his calm nature, honesty, and supportive ap...proach.

Alexus got the job done

We hired Alexus to help file my wife’s green card petition. Alexus sent us all the paperwork that needed to be filled out. His real value was in preparing all the supporting documentation that made our case super strong. He also attended the interview with us and we were approved immediately. Our int...erview date came at such short notice but Alexus canceled personal plans and fought flooding conditions to be with us at the interview. He really cares for his clients and is very passionate about what he does. I highly recommend Alexus.

Professional, Excellent, and Thoughtful!

Alexus reviewed our immigration application for US citizenship; he was thoughtful, deliberate and provided us with some very useful pointers and guidance that made the whole application process very simple. He followed up with us at regular intervals during the year+ journey and provided confidence t...hat our application was on the right track. We would recommend him for anyone considering applying for US immigration.
