Final divorce decree not provided to employer.

Mr. Smith was my divorce attorney. The only issue I had was, my final divorce decree was never served to my, now ex-husband. This resulted in my not receiving court ordered financial entitlement (e.g. half of all financial assets, such as retirement, stocks, bonds, equities, etc.) Upon his retiremen...t.

Amazing attorney

I cannot say enough about Mr. Smith. He is not only an attorney but a very kind and patient individual, and at times felt like a therapist. (Lol). His experience is very comforting in helping understand what to expect, etc., as sometimes legal cases, period can be nerve racking. He patiently stuck by... my side through a very long 19 month case (Covid delays at the court, and other things out of our control.) I would recommend him to any friend or family member needing not only legal services but a patient and understanding attorney by their side. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful lawyer and human being!

My son was innocent, accused by someone with a vendetta I guess, for burglary of a motor vehicle. His patience over a 2 year period finally paid off and the case was dismissed. He is reasonably priced and listens to what you say. He has defended me in the past for my divorce so I used him once again ...and I don’t regret it!

Awesome!!!

I called this wonderful man for a simple question and he went above and beyond for me. I know I will be going to him for the next time I need a family law case handled. Thank you for taking the time out of your day and relieving some of my stress. You rock!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
