In a league of his own, OUTSTANDING!

Willis is a godsend to the legal world, I kept second-guessing his actions and he kept telling me to trust him. I'm glad I trusted this man because I now would trust him with my life. His mind is as sharp as they come, he is extremely intelligent and I'm sure glad that he was on my side! He stays ...in constant communication with you, and also has a direct line that you can reach him and text him. This is rare because most attorneys have answering services and staff that you have to get through, it's rare to have one that remains right at your side like Willis does. I fought to custody of my child and he won the case for me in resounding fashion. I cannot recommend this man enough to anybody interested in affordable legal counsel. Willis is an absolute master in the court room, when I watched him work his magic that day I knew God had sent me the right attorney to represent my case. This man has truly mastered his craft, he is extremely down to earth, and will show you the outstanding force that he is in the court room. I truly feel sorry for any opposing counsel that has to face Willis Everett Smith! Invest in this man's time, you will NOT regret it!

Finally a Lawyer that goes Above and Beyond!

I had a terrible custody battle going on. I had hired a female attorney from SW Houston who managed to stretch out the proceeding for over a year and a half (while stressing me out even more) and collecting my money. I ended up firing her and hiring Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith was extremely knowledgeable,... accommodating and wasn't afraid to share information, he took the time to really understand my situation. Within 4 weeks he was able to correct the previous attorneys errors AND get my case finalized. I am so grateful!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
