When I first met Patricia, I was on the fence go through the divorce or not. Let me tell you, all the extremely personal details of my life came pouring out of me in a mess, I felt flustered, overwhelmed and helpless. My case started with a different attorney in a different county, but my ex was able to get the case transferred, leaving me scrambling to find an attorney in a county over 2 hours away. Mrs. Billings was suggested to me by an attorney where I live and I was very glad I listened. I really appreciated ...Mrs. Billings directness with me, she told me exactly where I stood and how she believed the case would go (both good and bad). She and her staff were great about communicating, if I sent an email it was always replied to by the next day (quite often within the hour) and with the information I asked for. My case was taken to mediation, largely because of the difficulty of dealing with opposition, and in mediation she was willing to let me speak but also would protect me from myself if I was going to put myself in a bad place. Throughout the entire mediation Mrs. Billings was making sure that I was comfortable with what happened and fought for me to get the best resolution possible while not blocking positive progress in negotiations. I would gladly use Mrs. Billings again and would highly recommend her to anyone needing representation for a divorce!
