If I could put no stars I would. No communication, no care about client. Put in no effort to help client, just went in with what ever DA recommended. Always reset court dates due to her being unorganized and not knowing the case. Very unprofessional when speaking to client about case. No help to the... case at all. Very rude .She looks to send clients to prison.

Melissa became my court appointed attorney for an family violence case. 3rd degree felony violation of protective order and impeding breath. I sat in jail 7 days and I kid you not this lady walked in court and I could instantly feel how experienced she was. She was straight forward with me about ever...ything as if she was my mother. I couldn't do anything but thank her numerous times and cried because she showed me that anything is possible. She got my court date expedited and I walked out of jail the next day also getting my bond dropped from a price I couldn't afford. As far as I know I will always be looking forward to Melissa working my case

Let me Begin by saying that I am not always the easiest person to deal with. Throughout this entire legal process, Miss Dickson always kept me well informed of exactly what was happening. I have known other attorneys not to do that. When we appeared before the court, she always knew the details of th...e case, where we stood in the process, and was well-versed in my defense. In late 2019, I had an illegal alien file a fraudulent accident claim against me, for an accident I allegedly left the scene of. My insurance company disproved the claim in court, and disposed of the claim. However, in the course of setting up this fraudulent claim for his illegal alien client, their attorney apparently filed a fraudulent accident report with Harris County. Even though the insurance case was dismissed, because it was a fraudulent claim, my ticket was never dismissed. Fast forward to early 2021. I was arrested on the two-year-old fraudulent warrant from the fraudulent accident claim. Miss Dickson was always on time. Always well acquainted with the facts and the current status of my case. And was able to get it dismissed in relatively short order. I would encourage anyone to hire Melissa Dickson.
