Ned Gill III

I hired Ned to represent me in a class "A" misdemeanor charge in the court of Harris County Texas back in April of 2016. The case was dismissed after 4 months, I did not go to jail but did have to pay restitution, but it was not cheap in the sense of how much stress and money it cost. The alternati...ve of finding a cheaper lawyer was out there and I could have easily hired one of them but did I really want to put my freedom in jeopardy just to save a few bucks? No way! Spend the extra $$ for peats sake, Ned has been practicing law for over 24 yrs. , and knows exactly what he's doing. I must say also to be patient, don't expect a lot of dialog as this is a very serious business and just because you don't hear from Ned or get the answers you want to hear doesn't mean he's not paying attention to your case. It's the law people! We that don't have experience with it can get very, very frustrated by how it works, and or our lack of understanding as to just what the heck is happening? Above all, trust him, or go cheap and go to jail.......that's how I looked at it right from the start all the way to the end of the case.

Mr. Gill handled a criminal matter for me. He was responsive and very well versed on the law and our options. Mr. Gill worked hard on my case and was prompt in returning my telephone calls. In compairing his quoted rates with other attorneys, Mr. Gill was reasonably priced and given the outcome that ...he got for me, I was very pleased.

Ned Gill is a nice guy, but his lawyering skills need a serious upgrade. He didn't provide me adequate attentive representation. I won't say don't hire him but be very particular in your choice, and if you get a bad feeling go in another direction. He tried to cut deals with the DA that I did not and... would not have authorized, and he allowed the DA to literally run him over. Client beware. He seems to be a really timid Family Law attorney, but not useful in Criminal Law. I wil point out that he returned my funds after wasting weeks of my precious time.
