Lisa Monique Okoh-Brown

Legal Warrior. those are the two words I would use to describe Lisa Okoh-Brown. I cannot thank her enough for getting me my son after a few years of him being kept from me by his dad and dad's family. We went into court in Parker county and his grandma lied and said she didn't know where he was. ...3 weeks later CPS in another state had my child and he had been abused by dad. Lisa got involved and worked with the D.A. and CPS in another state to help them understand Texas law and to not do anything to hurt our case in TX. She was not hired to do this but she really cares about her clients and won't leave you hanging. She then filed a petition back in Texas court which allowed the other state to close out their case. We showed up last week and now I have sole custody and dad is barred from all access. She was tireless in her efforts. She is super responsive. Most law firms you only deal with the paralegals but not here. You pay for an attorney you get an attorney. Just understand she is a straight shooter and is going to tell you what you need to hear. Sometimes you may not like it but just know she is working for your good and will fight for you and your children until the end. If you just trust her and do what she says, you are going to get the results you want. I wish I could give her 100 stars! She deserves it! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart Lisa!!

Okay so here we go.. In a word ...wow! Lisa came into my case 4 days prior to a temporary restraining order hearing. My ex had filed bogus charges against me and got a judge to believe them and took our son away from me. When I hired Lisa I was behind the 8-ball. Let me just warn you she will be t...ough on you but that is because she cares so much about her clients and she wants to win your case. So if you cannot handle a direct attorney, this may not be the attorney for you but for me I wanted a fighter and that is exactly what I got. The night before Our hearing they sent the evidence they were going to use in court against me. The evidence they had they were trying to really make me look like a bad mother. I was really concerned about this evidence. But Lisa worked her magic and she shot the evidence down and showed the judge how it had nothing to do with my children and who I am as a mother. Not only did I get my son back and the existing order went back in place, like I wanted, but the judge imposed a morality clause against me and my ex when my ex was only trying to get it imposed on me. Ha! The look on his face when he realized he was going to be penalized for taking me to court was priceless. But I showed him with a bigger person I was when I asked the judge to not put the morality clause on him because our child loves his fiance. After the hearing Lisa and I celebrated and I told her I was going to give her a five-star Yelp review because she did an amazing job in such a short period of time. Her communication was excellent, she got back to me quickly on everything and we got the victory. Most attorneys take days to respond to you, if at all I can never thank you enough Lisa! Guys if you want an attorney who is going to tell you the truth but will fight for you and your children this is definitely the attorney to hire. I would give her more than five stars if I could!
