This was a record case. Client came to me after his adjustment of status case had been pending for THIRTEEN YEARS! I could not believe this. the case had been denied and reopened 3 times. I sued the ... m in federal court and attended a brutal 2.5 hour interview with the client and his wife. Uscis felt it was marriage fraud. It was the first time I challenged the uscis officer with legal action after I was told to my face my clients were lying.
OUTCOME: Client got his citizenship
Client had his case stuck in limbo for 5 years and came to me after having 3 prior attorneys who sat around waiting for immigration to "decide" the case. I got the case and sued them in federal court ... and forced them to move the case forward.
OUTCOME: L1/E2 Approved for 3 years.
Clients were applying for L1 and E2 respectively and got an RFE that indicated the uscis was going to deny the cases. I wrote a 10 page brief in addition to responding to the RFE, citing case law and ... arguing for the approval of the petitions.
