IF I could give Ms. Okoh-Brown 20 starts, I would because she is so awesome! I am a young mom and the legal system can be confusing and intimidating. With her, I could sit back and allow her to navigate this complex system for me. She was always responsive when I reached out for advice and she set... me straight when I needed that too. lol. When we attended mediation it was something to watch her work. She anticipated everything the other side came back with. She would not let me budge on what she knew I was entitled too. She also took information that I gave her during mediation and quickly used it to our advantage to get what I wanted. She is a very fast thinker and that is one of the many reasons she is such a good lawyer. If you want someone who will fight for your kids as if they are her own, then you need to call her. Mrs.Okoh-Brown is by far the best attorney I’ve ever had, with this being said beware of attorneys that are just case takers. It took me 7 years in court with an attorney that did not have my best interest. Before I found Mrs. Okoh-Brown no one would take my case in Harris county due to it being out... of Harris county which to me was odd since it was in Texas. I was very frustrated with the system and had doubts since my whole experience was horrible, I was mislead and took for granted. Mrs. Okoh-Brown is our Guardian angel! She took my case in a heartbeat. She went above and beyond her duty as my attorney. She worked around the clock and behind the scenes for my case. She didn’t nickel and dime me. Legal Warrior. those are the two words I would use to describe Lisa Okoh-Brown. I cannot thank her enough for getting me my son after a few years of him being kept from me by his dad and dad's family. We went into court in Parker county and his grandma lied and said she didn't know where he was. ...3 weeks later CPS in another state had my child and he had been abused by dad. Lisa got involved and worked with the D.A. and CPS in another state to help them understand Texas law and to not do anything to hurt our case in TX. She was not hired to do this but she really cares about her clients and won't leave you hanging. She then filed a petition back in Texas court which allowed the other state to close out their case. We showed up last week and now I have sole custody and dad is barred from all access. She was tireless in her efforts. She is super responsive. Most law firms you only deal with the paralegals but not here. You pay for an attorney you get an attorney. Just understand she is a straight shooter and is going to tell you what you need to hear. Sometimes you may not like it but just know she is working for your good and will fight for you and your children until the end. If you just trust her and do what she says, you are going to get the results you want. I wish I could give her 100 stars! She deserves it! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart Lisa!!
