Denise Guajardo Khoury

Kind of long, but worth the read... I consulted with Denise about a year ago to help me figure out a mess of problems I was facing with the AG. One of which, my prior attorney made a wording error on a Termination order and they wouldn't accept it. Unfortunately, I opted to go back to my old attorne...y to have them clean up their mistake, thinking it would be cheaper and that they would stand behind their work. I was wrong. Denise sent me a heart-felt, handwritten letter, expressing compassion and empathy for my situation. It meant a lot to me that someone else understood the mess I was in and recognized it wasn't my fault. I regret not having hired her then to help fix my mess. I truly believe Denise would have been less expensive in the long run, negotiated better outcomes for me and gotten the messes cleaned up faster. Recently I hired Denise to help me with another, more serious problem. I made a mistake and it blew up. (Nothing twisted, my ex was just really wound up.) I needed an honest assessment and compassion to help figure out what to do. On our consultation call she contacted the other attorney and was able to negotiate a reasonable agreement getting me access to my kids very quickly. I hired Denise, because she is compassionate and a calming force on me and my case. (The angrier you and your ex are, the more you're going to spend and the longer it's going to take to get to an equitable resolution.) In a short time, she was able to get me access to my kids and keep me out of court. I know I made the right choice in hiring Denise and will continue to use her anytime something comes up. My only regret is not having known her 8 years ago when my ex and I parted ways. Denise and her team are a blessing and you would be lucky to have them by your side.

Im not really sure where to begin..... from the first moment I arrive to their office I was taken care of. I had only requested information because I really wasn't sure that divorce was the route I wanted to take. They were able to break the process down for me in terms that I could understand. After... one visit I knew that if this life changing event does come up I wouldnt want anyone by my side in the process. As i have informed friends and family, this is the hardest, most heart breaking thing i have ever been through in my life. This isn't something i would wish for anyone, but if this is part of Gods plan I wouldn't recommend anyone else to help you through it. They have this special power to make you feel comfortable even when you are stressing out the most. They provide just the right words to calm you down and help you look at the situation in a better light. Im sure I probably called them more than their family did, and yet they were always happy to assist me with any concern I had. They way Denise would go out of her way to make sure I understood that no matter what, my needs mattered. She reinforced my "backbone" when I was questioning myself the most. Teresa just has this vibe about her when she speaks with you that you know things will be ok. No matter how mad you are at yourself or even if you think everything is your fault they provide the extra effort to help guide your mind to a better place during the divorce. I spoke with Gabriela the most when calling in my panic states lol, but not once was she ever irritated with me or rude about why i am always calling. She knows exactly what to say to help you while also not getting your hopes up. The only word i can think of when describing these 3 is "FAMILY". People come in go in you like but the ones you want by your side in the hard times is FAMILY. They are and will always be that for me, FAMILY. So for anyone reading this and might be feeling lost or just down on yourself, please call them. The comfort, support and desire to help make a positive out of the worst situation is truly priceless. You just need to meet them one time and you will see what I am talking about.

Denise has done a fantastic job in my divorce representation. She has been wonderful in working with the opposing council who has been extremly difficult to work with every step of the way. She is professional, experienced and has bent over backwards to protect my interest in everyway. She has gone a...bove and beyond what I expected, communicating at all hours of the day and on weekends when necessary. I am living out of the State of Texas, making the situation even more difficult for her, yet she has handled this added difficulty very well. She has been very responsive to the ever changing situation and is always concerned with the most important part of the divorce, the children! She has done everything in her power to make sure they were taken care, protected and the final outcome was as much in thier favor as possible.
