I was helping mummy son move from a broken marriage and we had his truck loaded with his items , I was in the drivers seat of the pickup when his father in law came screaming at me in the vehicle , he was reaching into the cab of the vehicle trying to unlock my door when I specifically told him if he... came any further their would be consequences that would not be in his best interest . 45 minutes after leaving a Montgomery county Sherrifs officer came and writhe me the citation for assault by threat . Myself , my son and Emily went to court where the da's office wanted me to take a 4 hour anger management course and the charges would be dropped . I thought about that for a few moments and was not happy . I asked EMILY to go back to the da and kindly let him know that the judge could have been on the scene pronouncing the person dead that was pissed off trying to open the vehicle . Rest assure I did not know if this person had a weopon or not but was not taking any chances . EMILY came back after telling the da that I wanted a jury trial and that it was unacceptable.. All charges where subsequently dropped ... Thanks Emily . Very professional and seems to really love what she does . I'm a disabled firefighter that once all worked for the da's office at Harris county . All I handled was homicide files and issued them to the da's office ..
