Bruce A. Coane

I wish someone had extremely, strongly recommend to me (who had problems with an employer), to consult (no matter how expensive!) with an attorney VERY EARLY rather than later, because I later learned it would have *drastically* helped me!!! I noticed my work problems a whole year before I used Av...vo to get legal advice, and over 2 years before I hired anyone (I hired Mr. Coane). Even though I did lots of research, am very intelligent, and had very limited income, my big regret was *that I did not consult with and HIRE THIS FIRM EARLIER when I very FIRST began having problems.* Mr. Coane and his team were assuring throughout the process, resolving the missteps I had made and sympathizing with my situation, advising me on the best thing to do throughout the process. Even though big and small corporations often have massive firms and resources to "Goliath" employees into giving up, Coane and Associates was professional and *realistic* about my options, yet never once disparaged me and my situation. Mr. Coane and his team compassionately advised me every step of the way. They worked tirelessly to complete thoroughly, excellently, and punctually and keep me on my own deadlines. They aimed for the absolute possible best of a difficult situation that would have been MUCH better if I had hired them long before my termination. Where other attorneys told me to give up (I'm pretty relentless with my ethics), or told me it's hopeless, I discovered that when Mr Coane said he could help me, he meant he could be the "David" for me. Additionally, with his *over four decades* of experience and knowledge of even the *people* in the system, he was invaluable in my case at many problematic points. When all was said and done I was sure that I chose the right firm and went the farthest that I could because of them. Also, of note, they worked with me like a team, never keeping me in the dark, always realistic and assuring, and giving me direction on what I needed to do, me being so confused and worried in the complicated legal process.

I recently hired Bruce Coane for a wrongful termination charge against my employer. My initial experience with him was lackluster - he seemed uninterested and even fell asleep during our consultation. Despite this, I followed his plan to overcome the motion to dismiss and moved forward with him as my... attorney. Unfortunately, communication soon cease from Bruce's office, and after 4 months of no progress I received an invoice for work that had supposedly been completed but hadn't actually done anything on my behalf. After much back-and-forth it was revealed that the associate attorney working on the case wasn't familiar with what had been billed to me or what discovery should have taken place in order for us to be successful in court (none of which had happened). In addition, Bruce requested off the case just before we needed to make a response for summary judgement - leaving me going into trial without proper depositions that were agreed upon previously by both parties. My experience overall with Bruce Coane has not been pleasant - he seems more concerned about charging as much money as possible than actually helping his clients succeed in their cases. His years of experience are irrelevant if he is not taking care of those who hire him and choosing instead to put their cases at risk through his negligence and lack of communication/interest in seeing them through properly. For this reason, I cannot recommend hiring Bruce Coane as a lawyer and would give him 1 out of 5 stars due to my negative experience working with him.

Mr. Coane and his law firm were heaven sent for me. He and his staff were very professional and helpful from the beginning of introductions. I needed someone that was not afraid to go head to head with my former employer. Coane and Associates was just that law firm I needed. Mr. Coane was success...ful in securing me the best settlement possible. I was very satisfied with the results. If I am ever in this situation again, i will not hesitate to contact this law firm for assistance!
