I took several months to select an attorney and Caitlin was who I chose. I watched court live streams for weeks to see who carried themselves well in court and argued effectively. Caitlin made my short list. When we met for a consultation I was relieved to see that we gelled well. Speak to her bri...efly and it's obvious she's highly intelligent. As a lawyer I found her to be strategic and creative. She treated me with respect, and was extremely responsive. What mattered most to me (and where most other attorneys didn't work out) is that she partnered with me and we didn't fight over the reins. When my ideas were off the wall, she wasn't rude or condescending, and simply explained why it wouldn't work. When I had a gem, she polished it. I don't think I could have found someone I worked better with. Sure enough, my custody case was interstate and despite my efforts I could never find an attorney as good as her in the other state. I also greatly appreciated her efficiency. I didn't have unlimited funds to fight, so I always showed up prepared. Caitlin gave effective answers quickly. We did FAR more preparation than opposing counsel, yet my bill was half of my ex's. With other attorneys I'd show up just as prepared and only make it through 25% of my list because they simply didn't get to the point. Finally, it is clear Caitlin actually cared personally about my case. Having now worked with many different attorneys, I can't overstate how important it is to like and respect each other. Not only were my ex's legal bills double mine, it was clear my ex was just a source of billable hours to her attorneys. I know because I had the same experience in the past. Because her attorneys didn't care, they showed up lacking key context, causing them to ask me sloppy questions on cross, and make mistakes. In short, Caitlin has intelligence in spades, she leverages it to devise effective legal strategies, she's responsive, she's an efficient communicator, and she actually cares about her clients. Feel lucky that you stumbled across her. Treat her with respect, show up prepared, and work together and you will put the odds as much in your favor as is possible. ...and yes, thanks to many of her strategic decisions I now have custody of my son despite being told by attorneys in both states for the last 6 years that I should just give up.

I normally don't write reviews online but I have to for Caitlin . I was going through a divorce with a difficult ex husband but Caitlin was able to deal with him . I had another attorney representing me prior to Caitlin but it wasn't going anywhere and might take a while unless I settle with what m...y ex husband wanted . Caitlin took over my case and I went from being one step behind to one step ahead . She's very smart , quick , efficient, and knows the law. She's not like other lawyers that will try to drag out your divorce to get billable hours from you . She's honest and I can tell that she's passionate in her work . You must hire her to help you during difficult time like this . My divorce was done in less than 6 months including the time that was spent with the previous attorney before her . She should gets an award for being the best lawyer !!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Caitlin and her amazing team. The communication is top notch from her to her staff. Her responses were quick at all times, and never left any questions unanswered. I always felt how important my case was to her. Caitlin is an amazing, trustworthy, brilliant, and ...beautiful human who truly cares about her clients and will fight hard for them. Caitlin isn’t scared to speak out and won’t sugarcoat anything. She knows family law extremely well and during trial always knew the facts of my case very well, was familiar with all details and effectively fought for my kid's rights. Caitlin represented me in an extremely contentious and ultimately super expensive divorce. She pays great attention to details and an avid student of the law. In a divorce/child custody case, Caitlin was not only extremely knowledgeable, but she was highly sensitive to the fact that it was proving to be an experience that I was not prepared for. She predicted things that would happen with my ex and was able to calm my nerves when curve balls were thro...wn. She listened to me and what I wanted in the end to be happy. We would talk about options and what would work and what wouldn’t. She would 'check in' with me and make sure I knew what was happening at all times. My judge was just elected, so we didn’t know much about them. As time passed and it was getting closer to my final meditation, Caitlin was researching and talking with the other members of the firm to fully understand how the judge ruled. It really helped during final mediation when the last details needed to be hashed out. Her legal representation restored my faith in the justice system and going through a divorce isn’t the end of the world. Just the start of a new beginning.
