Assault and DWI cases handled A+

Exceeds expectations. It was unsettling being charged with felony and misdemeanor crimes. Attorney David Breston and his team work extremely hard in relation to how calming they are. Fees were fair and service is beyond the expectations, there were no grandiose promises simply real expectations set ...regularly to navigate thru the cases as well as possible. Thank you!

Highly recommend utilizing the services of David Breston!!

I, like most, typically don't like to deal with lawyers/attorneys unless absolutely necessary. I had something come up unexpectedly and while searching online late at night, around 9pm, after already speaking to multiple lawyers/attorneys earlier in the day....most of which were unhelpful and couldn'...t care less, many never answered or returned my voice mail, I got a hold of David Breston. He called me late at night, on his personal cell, and was courteous, professional, respectful. Made an appointment, went in to see him and just as was the case on the phone, he was very helpful and answered all my questions. I have unfortunately had to deal with the law, courts, and other lawyers/attorneys in my life and this was the best experience I have had. I never felt as though I was being taken advantage of and/or he wasn't given me sound legal advice and/or help. I highly recommend reaching out to David Breston and obtaining his services, or at the very least, utilizing his skills and knowledge with regards to whatever legal issue you are faced with.

Best criminal attorney in Houston

David Breston and his associate Alma Garcia are phenomenal criminal attorneys. They're both extremely nice people and I really enjoyed getting to know them even though I wish it was under different circumstances. First and foremost They were very knowledgable about the law. If your looking for the b...est criminal defense lawyer in Harris County give Dave's team a call. He was more than fair with his pricing and kept in contact with me the entire time. I've never had a lawyer who actually stays in contact like him. Every time I called him with a question he was very good about returning my calls promptly if he wasn't available or in court at that moment. He even called to check on me a couple of times. They took my charge very seriously and I can't thank them enough. I was charged with an assault on a family member in Houston that the district attorney would not let go of. David and Alma encouraged me to remain confident and not to take a plea bargain. The district attorney was adoment that he would not let go of this case. David and Alma remained firm and would not let me plea. They believed in me and my case. Throughout the case my relationship was pretty rocky to say the least and David even helped me with some relationship advice. David's job was to counsel me in the court room but he went over and beyond to counsel me outside of that making my relationship stronger. The case ended up going to trial which they moved along very quickly. Most trials take at least a year if not longer to get through but they were able to set it for trial, then get me in and out of the court system within about 6 or 7 months from the time of my arraignment. Talk about good criminal trial attorneys! David had these charts and presented the laws to the 26 jurors we had for the voir dire. Alma and David were able to strike the jurors that were to be unfair by presenting the facts in a way that anyone could understand. The way David presented the questions made it very elementary for everyone involved. After everything was presented and we had a jury we were off to trial. He pulled so many tricks out of his bag that I honestly did not expect that the entire trial was smooth sailing. It's really hard to tell in these types of situations how the end result will be but there was not a moment in the trial that I lost my confidence because of them. David took this prosecutor to school. He told me he's been doing this 18 yrs and probably done close 10,000 cases so with this kind of experienced criminal law attorney in Houston you couldn't go wrong. I have so many other nice things to say but the most important thing is that they found me NOT GUILTY! Thank the lord!!! Also, thanks again David and Alma I can't thank y'all enough y'all were great!!! P.S.

Awesome Attorney

David Breston, is the BEST lawyer in Houston. He met with me personally and was in no rush. He wanted to know all the facts & details. He believed me and more importantly believed in me. I could not get a conviction and ever plan to work in my career field again. David knew this and felt my anxi...ety over that matter specifically. He worked tirelessly towards our goal of dismissal until it was met today and I am forever grateful to David and compassionate and very efficient team members.

You need to read this before hiring David Breston to represent you!

I hired David back in November after being arrested and charged with two offenses that I didn't commit; misdemeanor family assault and felony evading arrest in Harris County. In our first meeting, David was confident that he could obtain the results that I was hoping for and even told me that he had ...a really good relationship with the judge in the court that my cases were assigned to. So, I hired him with confidence that he would work to resolve my cases. Prior to my first court date, David advised me to have my wife, the complainant in my assault case, accompany me to court to show her support for me. I questioned this because the court issued a restraining order against me as a condition of my bond. However, he assured me that it would be the right thing to do and I therefore decided to do so. That morning in court, I waited around for David to show up for almost two hours after they called docket and the judge began seeing defendants. Then two women came and called my name and came over and said they were associates of David's and that they were there to fill in because David was busy. Really, I'm paying this guy thousands of dollars and he sends me someone that knows nothing about me or my cases. So, she went up to the judge and prosecutors and came back and asked me why on earth did I bring my wife into court with me? She said the judge and prosecutor didn't take that very well because I was breaking their restraining order. I explained that David advised me to do so and she promptly responded "No, David didn't advise you"....she wanted to make sure and cover his rear. He could have been sanctioned by the courts if it came to light that he advised me to break the law. So, I go up to see the judge and she tells me that I would not be going home with my wife that day and instead I would be reporting for community supervision. So now, because of David, I've not only angered the judge but I also have to go pee in a cup, undergo evaluations and pay more money to the county each month. Strike one! David never accepted responsibility for what he did and instead stood by his advise. So to shorten this up a little. That day, the ADA was also upset about what I did and they started looking for a way to enhance my charge from a misdemeanor to a felony family assault with bodily injury. So, my next court date rolls around and it's for the felony evasion. David actually showed up on time this time. He goes and talks to the prosecutor and comes back several minutes later and approaches me with a plea offer. They would drop the felony evading if I plead guilty to the misdemeanor family assault and they would sentence me to 180 days in jail, fines and 3 years of unadjudicated probation. I said absolutely not and he threw a hissy fit and told me I was making a mistake because they would enhance my assault to a felony and I'd be looking at 2-10 years of prison. I told David I wasn't going to jail for something I didn't do and he sat right there and questioned the validity of my proclamation of innocence. Really, was my lawyer treating me as though I was lying. Needless to say I was done with this shyster. I fired him and hired a much more reputable lawyer and its two months later now and that lawyer attended the states presentation of my cases to the grand jury to obtain an indictment and presented my side of the story, lie detector tests and a statement from my wife, and the grand jury denied the indictments and "No Billed" both of my cases. David wasn't even going to attend that grand jury hearing...he told me there would be nothing he could do. In closing, David cares about nothing but maximizing his hourly rate by disposing your case as quickly as possible. He deals in high volume, so he doesn't really want to work for you. If you are facing a crime that involves possible jail time, DO NOT HIRE David Breston. You will be throwing your freedom away!
