John Bo Nichols

From our initial interaction on, Bo clearly explained the process and expected timeline for what could take place during the divorce process. Once the divorce started, Bo and his team worked diligently and effectively to ensure that my interests were protected and served to the highest degree possib...le. Additionally, Bo and his team were extremely attentive. Throughout the divorce process, I had many questions, and Bo and his team responded almost immediately to any of the questions I had, that were communicated by email. And, anytime I asked to meet with Bo in person, he and his staff were able to set the meeting within a couple of days of my meeting request. Also, there were a couple of complex issues related to my divorce, and Bo and his team were able to navigate and resolve those issues, resulting in an outcome that I am very pleased with. Most importantly, Bo and his team showed an extremely high level of compassion and capability in successfully helping me through one of the most difficult times in my life, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Let me start by saying I rarely write reviews, and in submitting this review I’m also exposing myself to judgment for a few bad choices I’ve made. But I feel strongly enough about the representation I received from Bo Nichols to happily share my story. To my dismay, I am a repeat client of Bo Nic...hols. In 2010, Bo helped me with a very ugly, contentious child custody modification. I was not very well represented (by another attorney) during my first divorce and felt pressured to agree to terms which were not in the best interest of my children. With Bo's assistance, the situation was corrected and my kids and I got our lives back. Bo knew I was considering remarriage and despite his counsel to me in 2010, I failed to draft a pre-nuptial agreement before my second marriage. Hence, seven years later, in 2017, I found myself facing divorce #2 and I once again turned to Bo for assistance. Thank God there were no children from the marriage, but this time I was faced with fighting for everything I have worked so hard to provide for myself and my children. It was especially difficult for me because I am a woman with a successful career and 4 children to put through college. Bo helped me to put things in perspective, paint a vivid picture of my situation for the mediator, and ultimately resolve the matter to my advantage. Bo has tremendous knowledge of the law and the Texas court system. He fights for his clients with confidence, persistence, and edge. He is a no-nonsense type of attorney who is not afraid to go head to head with opposing counsel and take the fight to the court room, if necessary. However he also has a compassionate side. Bo was always there to help calm my fears and reassure me that everything would be ok. While I wouldn’t wish my situation on anyone, there is no attorney I’d rather have on my side than Bo Nichols.

Ok, so here is the sad truth, I am a repeat customer. I believe in marriage and do it often. And Bo has been my counsel throughout these years. Bo has helped me through a divorce and then a pre-nup and follow-up work with my ex-wife. As a professional person, I can relate to the main questions yo...u want answers to: Is he competent? He is at the top of his tier both in legal knowledge and familiarity with the local attorneys and judges. He is also a great counselor at a time where both parties are not thinking straight. This part is vital and often not rated. Bo is a master of getting you to a safe shore with the best possible outcome for you and more important, your reputation and your childrens needs. Is he worth the cost? yes. While great attorneys and doctors may seem expensive, they are a great investment as the results of making a mistake are devastating. Bo is a consummate and honest artist of his craft. He also does not inflate the costs or churn ( a favorite of some of the ilk). So all in all you will pay for what you get - a serious pro on at your side to navigate the tough waters of divorce.
