This is “defense counsel” With zero idea as to what she is doing. She is also a public defender and has zero negotiating skills, zero idea how to obtain discovery and gives no direction to her client, but rather just scares her client into accepting 1st offer from prosecutor instead of even making o...ne counter offer. Prosecutor has zero physical evidence but she still just says accept deal. She admitted to Me she has never been through trial as a defense attorney. She served one year as a county prosecutor for Ward county.... one year.... no trials.... no experience... no clue. Ashley.... I’m embarrassed that Cass county would allow you to be on the public defender list. She represented my girlfriend... it was so bad that I had to pay to hire a different attorney because she is thin skinned and in my opinion incapable of defending her client. Sadly I had to give her direction on investigation she should do. Her response.... “oh yea... that’s a good idea.”
