Jessica helped me fight and win a change of custody that my ex had brought against me. She did an excellent job and made sure we were ready to go forward at all times. Who can say that their attorney was trying to save their client money. That's exactly what she did for me. She was professional ...and responded quickly to all of my questions. Jessica was to the point and didn't hold back when questions were asked.

I initially retained Bailey & Galyen for a previous family law issue that another attorney resolved very professionally with care to be responsive to the urgency in my matter. Without hesitation, I retained them again when I filed for divorce in 2016. Ms. Phillips was assigned to my case which was fa...irly straightforward before my husband's 2 domestic violence charges. From this point, I relied on Ms. Phillips and her paralegal to be responsive to my emails/voicemails to protect myself & my children. However, it was not uncommon for messages to be ignored or returned over a week later. When in court, she did not seem familiar with my case and did not zealously advocate on my or my children's behalf. Rather, she seemed to be just going through the process and suggesting general motions, none of which resolved my divorce or custody issues. My biggest concerns were her lack of communication, responsiveness, and knowledge about my case. I understand that she has many more clients that each require attention. However, waiting 1 week for a response is not acceptable and in my case became hazardous. She counseled me against a restraining order which may have prevented further escalation. When I came into the office advising them of the assault on my child and begging for a meeting to obtain some type of order to protect my children, she was not there and her paralegal told me to Google where to go to file legal charges. Subsequently, I had to find another attorney. Maybe my case was unique and this doesn't represent how she works with most of her clients. I do not believe she has enough experience to represent clients in contested divorces with problematic custody issues, so I would strongly advise anyone to use extreme caution if you're considering her to represent you for a case that is not just a standard uncontested divorce.

Have been very relieved as I walked through this process with Jessica. She worked with me each step of the way, slowed down when I needed greater clarification, gave me insight and tips that were helpful, and is just a comforting, energetic soul to work with on a project that is as stressful as a fa...mily divorce. She's personable, level-headed, and helps brings a business-like calming peace to the proceedings.
