At first I thought Ms. Fowler was going to be an amazing fit for my case. I had limited funds and limited time but Jane assured me she'd be able to handle my case for half her usual fee. Unfortunately when It came time for me to pay this fee, I was met with a completely different attitude and excu...ses as to why she could no longer take my case. I literally begged and pleaded with her, explaining that her last minute change of heart was most likely going to cost me my case due to a lack of time to retain a different attourney. I recieved no response and ended up showing up to court with no legal council. Luckily, I was able to find a much better lawyer in the waiting area who had my case pushed and managed to win 2 months later. DO NOT trust Jane Fowler with your case. And do not trust her word. Get anything she says in writing. Jane, what you did was just plain wrong and I hope bad karma finds its way to you. And take me off your mailing list, I dont want your holiday calendar. You're a bad person and a worse lawyer.

I regret choosing Attorney Fowler to represent my divorce case. Most of my calls were only answered by a paralegal, who repeatedly said the attorney would respond, but she never did. Despite this, I was billed $225 for unanswered calls. I was also charged $455 for an email response, even though th...e matter could have been resolved in a short phone call. When I asked for a billing explanation, I received no response for two months (from June 10th to August 25th). Eventually, I was refunded only $95, and even that check had my name spelled incorrectly. I don’t want to make public judgments about Attorney Fowler’s professional abilities in handling cases. However, this entire experience caused significant delays, wasted time and energy, and left me extremely frustrated. After waiting two months with no answers, I had to file a grievance with the Texas Bar and a fee dispute with the Dallas Bar.
