We adopted our daughter from Ethiopia and hired Mrs. Boone-Costantino as our attorney for the re-adoption in Texas. I met her many years before when she was working while in law school and was our wedding photographer. I knew from that experience that she had great attention to detail and was very ...professional. I had every confidence in seeking her help with our daughter's adoption in Texas. I assumed the international part of the adoption would have made the process a bit more complicated...maybe it did, but she never let us feel that. Stress was last thing we needed as new parents only home six months with a toddler. She was very organized and clear in her communications with me regarding all the required documents and forms. Without much notice, my father-in-law flew in for a visit (from out of the country), and she was able to get us a court date so that he could attend. The re-adoption was of course emotional for us, but also for our attorney. (How many people can say that?) She was there when our lives began together and again for the adoption of our first child. (I did apologize for making her teary-eyed in front of the judge). Especially in matters of family law, I think it is important to have someone working with you who really cares. She is a very bright, capable and compassionate person, whom I highly recommend.
