I have been practicing elder amd special needs law since 2008 and focus primarily on Medicaid, SSI, Disability, Veteran’s Aid & Attendance benefits, Special Needs Trusts, Estate Planning, Guardianships, and Probate.
I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration concentrated in Economics and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2003. I then attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law).
I have practiced in the areas of Oil & Gas Law, Real Estate Law, Family Law, and Personal Injury Law. However, I found Elder Law was the area I connected with most.
I serve on the Board of the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Advisory Council for Community Hospice of Texas. I am also a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Tarrant County Probate Bar Assocation, the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law section of the Texas Bar, the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society (TAGS) and Rotary International.
I participate in COAP (Children of Aging Parents) and volunteer in the Homebound Ministry and the Children’s Ministry of my church.
