Took me for my money!

I hired Mr. Ocampo to represent me in getting more visitation with my kid. We communicated back and forth with each other through calls, text messages, and emails. Once i paid him the full amount of what he was asking, i never heard from him again. I tried and tried several time to get in contact wit...h him through calls, text messages, emails, and leaving him messages with his secretary not once did he ever return a call or messages. It has now been almost 3 months and still no word from him or whats going on with my case. I have now hired a new Attorney. I do not recommend this attorney Charles Ocampo to anyone. Do not pay him full amount until he has done something for you...Never have i been robbed like this before..Im a single mom working and trying to fight for my son and this man Ocampo robbed me blind and lied to me.

Highly recommended

I hired Mr Ocampo to handle my divorce after he was recommended by a friend of mine. After my first meeting with Charles I felt very comfortable with him as he makes you feel like you matter and your are not just another case. He was able to mediate and negotiate and help me through a very difficult ...and emotional time.

DWI Case

Charles help me out in all aspects of my case. This was my first offense and he made sure to always have my best interests in mind. He and his staff followed up with me until my probation was complete. Really went above and beyond the call of duty.

That Guy Robbed Us : Ese Fulano Nos Robo

Writing this review was never a consideration of mine.. until my mother, a Fort Worth ISD employee for 21 years hired the Ocampo Law Firm to assist her with her vexatious divorce case. Only to be poorly mislead by Mr Ocampo himself in regards to the choices she should make. The lack of attention ...to what could have been a not-too-painful divorce case (if there is such a thing), has lead this case to become; not only problematic at home, but the bank accounts as well. Fails to return client calls, fails to reply to client emails, fails to provide client with documents post court hearings. My mother would have never expected couldn't be more in the dark about her own case.. than she is right this moment. Unless you're plans are to be shackled by negligence from someone claiming to have your best interest in mind... I suggest seeking assistance in your legal matters elsewhere.

Said one thing, did the opposite

Contacted me at 4:45 pm the night before to notify me of my hearing the next day. Said not to worry about appearing, would be in contact by phone and would not agree to anything without my consent. Notified after the hearing that he went ahead and agreed to all of the demands of the other party (with...out calling me) but not to worry as he was going to ask for a hearing to have the judge "reconsider". Told me the judge didn't really have time to hear my case anyway as the caseload was so heavy that day. Three weeks later and no word despite two calls to his office requesting an update about the next hearing. Wage garnishment was filed same day as hearing taking 50% of my income (the maximum allowable) putting my income below poverty level. Could have gone in with no lawyer at all for this outcome. At the initial consultation, I was led to believe that this outcome was the worst case scenario and that every step would be taken to ensure I was not left with inadequate income to support myself and my family. I have no faith in this attorney and now have no funds to retain another.
