I Hired Mr.Ocampo last year to represent me in a family matter. He was good while I was paying him. Once everything was paid in full he stopped answering phone calls, emails, Text messages. I am in the dark about my case and this guy won't even answer his phone. Won't update you on court dates. He wi...ll take your money and abandon your case. Don't waste your time and money.

I hired Mr. Ocampo to file for a non-disclosure for me on 4/16/15 the date of my incident was 12/20/2013. I paid him $1500.00. He told me that in order to file it three years have to lapse before he could do any thing with it. I am not an attorney but trusted what he told me, and what he could do for... me. I know nothing about law! At first, when his office was in The Star Telegram building after the initial meeting and payment in full, I would call him from time to time just to keep in touch and not let my case be forgotten or go by the wayside. I would get the; "he's in court today or he's with a client" . I understand that those are valid reasons and left a message to please give me a call. Only once did he call me during all that time. Told me everything was on track. This was after I had called his office and had left a message with his paralegal about a potential civil case lawsuit against another person for the sum of $200,000.00 and needed his advise. The next time I called, his paralegal told me they had relocated to Berry St. halfway between Hemphill St. and 8th Ave. One day I was in that part of town and paid him a surprise visit. Walked in and asked his paralegal if Mr. Ocampo was there she said yes but he's with a client. I told her I'd wait, she said she didn't know how long he was going to be with his client. I told her "Okay, I'll wait" and sat down. The paralegal said, "It may take two or three hours". I told her I would still wait. After a few minutes she got up and went into his office. Within two or three minutes he came out shook my hand and started escorting me to the door. I asked about my case, as it had been nearing the three years. He told me, "I got all the paper work done I just need to file it". That was in April of this year, 2017. He told me I could have called or left a message. I told him, "I have but you never called me back on any of the many times I left the voicemail's on your phone and as far as leaving you a message with your paralegal, you never returned any of my messages or you simply chose to ignore them". He reassured me that he was on top of it and (the work) would be done. I waited until July of this year, 2017 to get in touch with him on his cell phoneleft a voice mail. I then called his office and got a recording that the number dialed was no longer a working number. I felt my stomach drop. I called his cell phone again, got his voice mail again and left the message to call me. As of today I've not seen or heard hide nor hair of him. I guess he missed 'taking care of your customer' class while studying for the Bar. I'm planning on filing a Grievance to the State Bar of Texas. To the other people he 'stole' money from I wish you well and good luck with your cases.

We hired Mr. Ocampo to help us fight custody. He took 2k from us and we have yet to hear from him. He cancelled our first court hearing, for no reason. We call, no answer, we went by his office, looks abandoned. It has been 3 months and we have yet to hear anything from him. We are now having ...to hire another attorney, we will be reportinh him to the bar and getting our money back. DO NOT HIRE THIS THIEF!!!

Mr. Ocampo took thousands of dollars from us and did nothing on the case. Called and called and nobody ever answers. Went by the office and it looks closed. He said he was sick when we met but he seemed to be on something. I plan on filing with the State Bar to get my money back. Had to hire a new at...torney.
