    25%
These are serious cases which have serious collateral damage if not handled properly. Only two outcomes are acceptable-not guilty trials or dismissals. Generally speaking any other result is worthless.

  2. Juvenile law
    25%
More than any other area of law it is important to have an attorney who is an expert in the juvenile field. Though juvenile is similar to criminal law it is not the same. A case handled poorly will affect your child for the rest of his or her life.

I am a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BS in Biology/Science Education.  While I attended Iowa I served as a research and teaching assistant for the Education and Biology Departments.  After graduation I attended Memphis State University of Law.  I was a member of our National Mock Trail team, graduation speaker and President of my graduating class.  Since graduation I have practiced only as a criminal defense attoreny looking out for the rights of the individual accused.   I never was a former prosecutor who backed the lying police and bias system one day and then claimed that I  was looking out for the best interests of a person accused when I became a defense attorney the next day. I was Certified  in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization the first year I was eligble for such honor  (1997) and followed it up by receiving my Board Certification in Juvenile Law in 2006.  I am the only attorney officed in Tarrant County who is certifed in these two areas of law and  1 of  only12 attroneys, 90,000 total, Certified in Criminal and Juvenile Law in the State of Texas.

Very attentive Attorney
Brian Willett was a great help in getting our sons legal troubles taken care of. His office and staff were great and stayed on top of things from beginning to end. Hired in June, case completed in August. He also showed up for our court dates in a very timely manner and explained each step. If needed would definately use his services again and recommend him. L. Great Attorney
Brian was the 3rd lawyer we consulted with for my sons case. He was facing a first degree felony that he had no part in. The first two attorney's, after hearing what happened, talked about taking a plea deal. He was NOT guilty or even associated with what he was being accused of. When we met with Brian, he told us the steps we would need to take and exactly how things would go. We had a great feeling from the first time we talked to him. The case went on for almost a year but the whole time Brian said "we will not plea out, we will go to trial if we have to." I am happy to say the charges against my son were dismissed and Brian was very easy to work with. Thank you so much for everything you did for us!

Very informative
I went to Mr. Willett after being arrested for something I didn't do. He encouraged me to appease the DA by running through the motions. I did. Upon my second court date he was able to have the charges dismissed. Ultimately, it was a huge waste of my time and money. However, that is by no means a reflection of the services Mr. Willett provided. His office is super friendly and they don't make you feel like an inconvenience like some offices do. He gave me the worst case scenario, the best case scenario and option in between as well as the cost of pursuing each option. I will be getting back in touch with his office when the statute of limitations is up in order to have this expunged from my record. Thank you for you service, Mr. Willett.

Accused of Theft
Accused of a Class B Misdemeanor Theft, while I was with a family member at Walmart. Was called in for question by a detective but never answer any questions, found out 2 months later I had a warrant for my arrest. I was arrest while driving back to Fort Worth talked to different lawyers around the Ft. Worth area and Dallas and all wanted to charge a arm and leg. Found Brian Willet off the internet. Best decision I made, as he talked to me about my case and gave me options. Long story short I got my case dismissed and currently working with him to get my record expunged from this offense.

great lawyer!
Mr. Willet provided my teen son with a very informative consultation prior to us hiring him for his services. My family found Mr. Willett knowledgable and very professional. He helped to reassure my son while keeping things "real." On the day of court, Mr. Willett took care of everything! He talked to the judge and worked out a deal that was better than even he had hoped for! We never even saw the judge or the inside of the courtroom. However, With this being our only experience with the juvenile court system, we were very unsure what to expect on the day of court. I wish we would have been a bit more prepared by Mr. Willett on What to expect. That being said, I would hire Mr. Willett again in a heartbeat!!! I also had a wonderful experience with his receptionist, Hope. She was so kind, thoughtful, non-judgemental, and helpful.

Wanted a Board Certified Criminal Defense attorney
When I was looking for an attorney for a case I wasn't guilty of, I interviewed a couple of attorneys, one wasn't board certified and he knew nothing about the law and said that he would have to "look it up" and get back with me. The second one was a former prosecutor who seemed like she was still working for the DA's office. when I asked her about how to keep from getting my driver's license suspended and about cleaning my record she didn't know because she didn't do those things as a prosecutor. Mr Willett kept my license from being suspended and ultimately my case was dismissed.

I was wrongly assused
I got charged with an offense that I didn't commit. We set the case to go to the grand jury and Mr. Willett presented my side and got my case dismissed.

I was a victim of identity theft.
I was stopped for running a stop sign. Next thing I know I'm being arrested for something I didn't know I had done. Someone stole my identity, opened up a bogus account with all my information at a major bank. She didn't even spell my name correctly, it was that simple. She had written hot checks all over Texas. I had a State wide warrant, for something I didn't do. My family contacted Mr. Willett to bond me out of jail. He also handled my case for me. He put me at ease with the whole situation and explained everything about my case to me. He was able to get it dismissed and I got my record expunged. He said this happens more often than what people think.
