Biography
Jeff Weinstein has been a lawyer since 1987 and has helped people with civil legal matters in Henderson County and throughout all of Texas since 1996. Jeff is proud to be an advocate for the people who have been injured by the actions of others.
Jeff loves Henderson County. He brought back the Uncle Fletch Hamburger event to Athens. With the support of our local McDonalds and Whataburger, the 2017 Uncle Fletch Hamburger Festival drew over 7,000 patrons.
In 2016, Jeff was selected by lawyers all across the Country as the Pro Bono Lawyer of the year for his work in educating teenagers on the dangers of distracted driving. “I believe it is our responsibility as lawyers to make our neighborhoods safe, distracted driving is something we can work together on to save lives.”
Several years ago, Jeff talked long time local journalist, Michael Hannigan, into joining him to create Weinstein Law's Henderson County Now. HCN is a free, online newspaper for everything local in Henderson County. Today, HCN has over 28,000 subscribers. It is the most reviewed newspaper in Henderson County.
Realizing that there are never enough things for retirees to do, Jeff created the Silver Screen Movie Club. SSMC gives seniors an opportunity to socialize together while watching a free movie each month.
Jeff has three teenage daughters. He loves community service, helping people in many charitable and philanthropic endeavors, playing golf (although it isn’t pretty) and reading.
He attended the University of Texas at Austin and obtained a Finance Degree in 1983. He then attended Southern Methodist University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1986. Jeff also has a real estate broker’s license.

Great experience!
I don't usually leave reviews online, but this is something I feel strongly about! I really had little idea of what went into handling a car wreck claim. I thought it was just worked out between the parties involved and insurance companies. I learned my lesson fast! As soon as I called for a consult...

The Best of the Best.
Jeff is the best at what he does. From my initial call to help, to the end result of my case, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He is honest and trustworthy, and does what he says he is going to do. Simply the best.

Don't waste your time or money!
He's a waste of time and $. He is unresponsive basically took my $ and disappeared. I had a property matter to handle from out of town and he did nothing but charge $ and do nothing. He is very unresponsive and untrustworthy. In one word, Run!

Anyone that knows me knows everything stated here is untrue: We are very responsive, we don't charge by the hour for real estate matters, I don't handle real estate matters out of town and I am happy to show anyone our evaluation forms that show our clients are very happy with our services.
