Wonderful, compassionate lawyer

Mr. D'Angelo saved my son's life. He was sentenced to 30 years confinement at the age of 19. When Mr. D'Angelo was assigned to defend my son he immediately began to plan an aggressive defense strategy for him. He always kept in communication with his client and myself. Even when things did not look good he kept us motivated. He always answered my questions, no matter how busy his schedule was. He fought for my son above and beyond, knowing in his heart things were not right about his case. He is a fighter for the less fortunate offenders who are railroaded by our so called justice system. He negotiated with the prosecutors office to allow my son to win a new trial and my son received a 10 year sentence. Mr. D'Angelo fearlessley took on a justice system that had little if any regard for the injustices of my son's case. If it were not for Mr. D'Angelo my son would have spent 30 years in prison, being released and no good to himself nor society. At least now my son came be released, pay his debt to society and still have his life back at a young age.

Carlo D'Angelo is a criminal defense lawyer, former law professor with over 25 years of experience defending individuals charged with state and federal crimes. After law school, Carlo accepted a position with the Broward County Public Defender's Office, where he gained a wealth of jury trial experience handling a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases. In 2000, Carlo left the public defender's office and went into private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

While in private practice, Carlo also took on a full-time faculty position as an Assistant Professor at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. In 2008, Carlo left South Florida and relocated to East Texas, where he opened Carlo D'Angelo, PC.

In addition to his Texas-based criminal defense practice, Carlo is also available to represent individuals nationwide who may be the target of federal crimes including cryptocurrecy criminal prosecutions. In 2022, Carlo was a featured speaker at , where he spoke on the subject of "The Growing Threat that Crypto Criminal Enterprises Pose to NFTs." Outstanding Lawyer , Outstanding experience.

I had a DWI charge and Carlo got me a great deal- I can tell you that specifically there were people in the courtroom with the same charge and I heard their sentencing - and I am so happy Carlo represented me. My deal was much much better than theirs. He kept me informed about my case and made me feel like a real person, not just a client. I admire how he works his business and treats his clients. Worth it!

Hired for my son. I had never needed a lawyer and was nervous. Between Shelly, his assistant, making sure he had his ducks in a row for court and lawyer handling business with a professional, honest and attentive manner I was at ease. An attorney to be grateful for!!!

Carlo and Shelly worked tirelessly for me. They were supportive and encouraging during a long struggle with the justice system during Covid and were always willing to answer my calls. They truly had my best interest at heart and Carlo never tried to sway my choices. He was excellent in providing my options and helping me to understand the possible outcome for each one. When asked his opinion, because I had never been in trouble with the law and didn’t know how things worked, he was forthcoming about the situation and told me what he thought was best for me, always reiterating he was on my side no matter what I chose to do. Probation Revocation

Mr. D'Angelo went above and beyond for me. I was facing a probation revocation for which I thought I was going to prison. At no point did I have trouble getting in touch with Mr. D'Angelo or his office, they kept me informed of every move and what to expect which made me very comfortable. This was a very tough case with many twists and turns because of the current Covid-19 situation in our nation, yet I still felt very prepared and informed at all times. I went into my hearing hoping to just be reinstated on my probation but after Mr. D'Angelo went to bat for me the judge and prosecutors agreed not only to drop the violation charges, but also dismissed my probation entirely! I couldn’t be happier with the results, this law firm is top notch and I’m extremely grateful to have found them. I am confident in saying that I would call D'Angelo Law for ANY legal needs.

Excellent lawyer best in the game doing it !!

Caught my first offense at my own home and was giving a $100,000 bond basically was thrown to the wolves felony 2nd degree assault w deadly weapon was offer 20 years mr. D'Angelo got me 2 years probation misdemeanor out of wood county Texas I'm a African American and charges like that my mind don't beat often he's a blessing worth every penny and he kept comfortable and made me feel like he cared and his staff is also amazing mrs. Shelly does very well contacting Their clients I would him a grade of A+!!!

Best Attorney in East Texas

We will always be grateful and blessed to have hired Mr. D'Angelo to represent our daughter. Without him our daughter would be in prison. He is amazing. Mr. Carlo D'Angelo is the best!

Mr. Carlo D'Angelo is the best! I hired him a couple months ago, I was falsely accused of stealing fabric at Walmart, the employee didn't scan my item and I wasn't aware and they accused me of stealing ridiculous. Mr. Carlo D'Angelo dismissed my case. He is very professional and did everything possible for me. I highly recommend Mr. Carlo D'Angelo if you have any legal problems.

The real deal

I used carlo back in an 03' case in broward. Just turned 18 at the time but scored out to mandatory prison. The guy worked his magic, I got off on a happily 5 years probation. He was always upfront, kept in contact w me along the way. He is a gem! Texas gained a great one.

He gave us back our family!!!

We have been fighting almost 7 years a protective order issued by the state of Texas. All young kids make mistakes and we paid for our....I suddenly lost the support of my husband, my kids father was absent from our home all due to this protective order...Carlo took our case and we walked out of that court room holding hands for the 1st time in almost 7 years!!!! Our family slept in one house for the 1st time in 7 years!!!!!!! This was an amazing feeling. He not only got the protective order dropped but my husband was approved to transfer to where me and our 2 children live and now travel with work. This is such a huge load off our shoulders and we owe it to Carlo! You won't go wrong having him fight for you!!

If you need a criminal defensive attorney Mr. Deangelo is your guy. He is professional and puts everything he has into your case. We works hard and is detailed oriented to insure a tight win. Saving My 17 Year Olds Life Is Priceless

Carlo did an amazing job dealing with a difficult small town DA who flip flopped back and forth for almost 2 years toying with my young daughter's life. As of yesterday, the DA has decided to no longer pursue the matter. Without Carlo's diligent efforts my daughter's future remained bleak. Now her future has no ceiling! Excellent Attorney and Firm

I am from Louisiana and I was in a desperate situation needing an attorney for my son who had DRUG charges over here in Louisiana and also a drug charge in Tyler Texas, we had a mess and a difficult and complicated situation to work with.
