My divorce took 27 months. No friendly divorce takes 27 months, although the first 5 months were friendly. Scott was involved for 22 months of the process. I have no doubt that Scott would have fought hard and professionally on my behalf if it would have been a contested divorce. In the end, my wife and I agreed to a fair settlement on the real estate and we agreed to division of personal property without Mediation which saved us a lot of money. Don't underestimate the value of your attorney having a good sense of humor in difficult times. I went to Scott's office either angry or over-the-top frustrated over the length and the details of my divorce. After some funny remarks and stories and some keen advice I always felt better. My family assisted me with retaining Scott in early June of 2021, to represent me in a case involving my infant daughter, who was in the care of my ex’s sister and her husband.
