Brian Douglas Walters

i had some issues with my daughters father, drug use and family violence. once i found out he had hit my daughter i called Brian and started the process to get sole custody and supervised visitation. We 1st tried to move the case in to the county that i now live in but that was taking for ever (nothi...ng on Brian's part) so he advised to stop the transfer and proceed in the county it was in. once we stopped that we had a court date set in a matter of 2 weeks and was granted sole custody with NO visitations. I'm so happy with this out come way more then i expected. i will use Brian again if i need to and will be telling every one i know about what he has done for me and my family!!!!

My title says it all! Brian Walters is a great attorney and a good person. I came across Brian after I fired my first attorney. I was really behind an eight ball due to my first attorney. I called Brian on Sunday and he actually answered the phone and had a lengthy conversation with me regarding my... case. He didn't brush me off nor ask me to call during business hours. Turns out he is like that even after you pay him his retainer. Imagine that, an attorney who still works hard after a retainer is given. Yes Brian, you're a rare gem! I was very leery of any attorneys due to what my first attorney had done. Brian erased my fears in our first conversation. It was refreshing to hear the truth on the possible outcomes of my divorce. Brian explained the family law code to me gave me the best case scenario and the worst case scenario.. He used his 17 years in the field to give me what he thought may happen. He didn't make any crazy promises. In fact the only promise he made was that he would work hard on my case. The process of getting a divorce is not a pleasant experience. I believe when there is a child or children are involved as in my case, it is a especially hard, stressful and at times frightful, even more so when you are a guy. Brian was completely honest about what to expect. He was very informative. Fear is caused typically by the unknown as much of a divorce is just that unknown. He knew the family law code inside and out and filled me with information which really helped me understand the options he was giving me and helped make logical decisions not emotional ones. Brian went out of his way to answer any question I had and at times he calm my nerves and settled me down when the other side did something to make me mad. He got me through the emotional roller coaster that a divorce is. He took time out of his vacation to answer my calls, texts and emails. Brian even spoke to me for 30 minutes on the 4th of July. He was able to speak and negotiate with my wife's attorney which helped lower my costs by staying out of the court room. He also caught a few things they were trying to sneak in where my previous attorney would of screwed me. Brian and his office staff are up to date on technology. They use an awesome web portal that allows discussions, uploading documents and has a your account statement right there. It was truly an awesome experience being able to have so much information regarding my case right there. His office is just as great as Brian is. They are very kind and sensitive to you when you call the office or they call you. They are quick to respond to questions with truthful and legit answers. They do not blow you off. I felt that the cared about each individual and didn't just peg you as another case number. Halfway through our divorce, my wife and I started to communicate something my previous attorney absolutely told me not to do. I spoke to Brian regarding communication with my wife and he supported it as long as I didn't give out any vital information and to mainly listen. I can see why most attorneys tell you NOT to talk to the other half during a divorce because it might cost them some billing fees. My wife and I ended up going to dinner and we've not been apart since! We ultimately asked to have our divorced tossed out. Brian was happy for us and even helped do that. I know that each divorce is different and may not be savable, I just wanted to point out that Brian was tough when he needed to be for my legal protection and he was able to switch gears and help both my wife and I when we decided to resume our marriage. At the end of the day, Brian Walters is a great attorney and person. I typically don't do online reviews however I would be doing Brian and those who are in need of a great family law attorney a disservice by not sharing my great experience with a terrific attorney. As a business owner, I sure wish he did business law!

Mr. Walters is currently handling my divorce case. He is amazingly dedicated to his client. I first e-mailed him at 4 am in the morning to ask for an immediate divorce and requested for protective orders (from an abusive spouse). At 7 am, he e-mailed me to be prepared to go to his office and got t...he paper work started. At 10 am I arrived at his office. His assistant Haylee is great and awesome. With Mr. Walters and Haylee's help, all of the paper works were ready within 2 hours of arrival to his office. Within a couple hours afterward, the protective orders were approved by the judge and divorce paperwork was filed in court. All of those were taken care of in less than 24 hours. The children and I are very grateful for the quick process since our safety is on the line. Really, Mr. Walters is a great Attorney. He is responsive to answer the e-mails and questions through the process, even on the weekends. If he is not in his office, he always has someone else who is reliable and knowledgeable to take care of you while he's gone, so you don't have to wait in agony. Our case is still pending, and I am looking forward to give more reviews when the divorce is settled.

When I hired an attorney to represent starting my divorce, I was hung out to dry at the first mediation. This other attorney did nothing to protect me or my interests. It was obvious to everyone especially the other counselor and my husband my attorney was intimidated. After a grueling 8 house of ...mediation and I ended up homeless, with no financial support, and no vehicle. Coming out of the meeting my attorney told me she wanted to hire my DAUGHTER (who knows nothing about the law) who helped her in the mediation I almost hit the floor, I cried and had nightmares all night. After I pulled myself together and found Brian on the legal advice web site he offered to help me right off the bat. Even with my hesitation, and changing my mind almost a hundred times about hiring a new attorney, he agreed to represent, basically a crazy woman. Honestly he and his team are priceless. After meeting with Brian and Haylee I had my first good nights sleep in months. My husband blindsided me with a divorce, this was my first and only marriage, I was dumbfounded, confused and totally caught off guard. In a matter of a week Brian leveled the playing field, both he and Haylee talked me through some really out of the blue circumstances and never, ever wavered. I am in need of a good probate attorney now and my only wish is I find one at least 1/2 as good as Brian and his awesome support team. Do not waste your money or take any chances, If you want an attorney strong and smart from or the get go, you want Brian. If you need an attorney you can trust, hire Brian. You will sleep peacefully knowing you're in good hands, I know I did. I promise you Brian is an attorney with a HEART! My only regret is that I did not hire Brian Walters and Haylee from the word go!

I hired Brian literally less than 24hrs from a court hearing. He took quick action along with his staff. He was very well prepared for such short prep time. He, and his staff have been dependable, and always very professional. They have always responded promptly to our request or questions. Ours... is an ongoing custody case, and we greatly appreciate all Brians dedication, and help.
