Biography
David S. Hughey attended college in Illinois at Wheaton University and earned his J.D. Degree from in 1987 from The University of Houston. . Mr. Hughey believed that in starting his own practice, he could fully realize his passion for helping people. In 1993, along with his wife, Robin Hughey, they founded Hughey and Hughey. The primary focus of Mr. Hughey's practice has been family law and personal injury.
Mr. Hughey is active in the the Dallas Bar Association, the North Dallas Bar Association, and the Collin County Bar Association. He is a dedicated volunteer in various organizations benefiting youth, including the Richardson YMCA, Richardson Neighborhood and youth services, and the Allen Sports Association and in school district booster clubs for the Allen and Lovejoy ISD's.
Mr. Hughey and his wife have five children. Their oldest is now an attorney and a member of the firm.

Divorce Advice
Mr. Hughey took his valuable time, on a Monday, to speak with me about possible solutions for my very contentious and ongoing divorce. Capable, Persistent, Honest
My ex left the country without dividing court-ordered assets. Dave worked persistently to help me find my overseas ex, and negotiate a settlement. Dave's fees were always fair, and he was generous with his time. I recommend him highly.
