Replied last May 15, 2025No good deed goes unpunished. That's the moral of this story. I actually handled her first lawsuit at no charge. I felt sorry for her situation. The second time she was sued, I charged her and she was very unhappy about how “billing” works. At no time did I ever charge this client to “train” my paralegal, however I did charge if I updated my paralegal about new events. It is necessary to keep staff in the loop so they can provide the best support for clients.
