Had a DWI. No way I was going to win. I was really drunk and there was just no way out of it. Mr. Key got my report and video. We watched it together and he explained potential defenses and likelihood of winning. There was no way I was going to "win" but I think he got me was a win. I could have go...tten probation but after comparing probation to the short jail sentence I went with that. Saved me a lot of money and time. Paul Key is definitely the lawyer to call when you're between a rock and a hard place. I was involved in an incident where an angry motorist pulled up beside me in the parking lot and brandished his weapon at me. I drew mine in response. He drove off, while I was on the phone with 911. The police... came and said he said he drew his weapon in self defense, and of course, because I'm a younger guy, they were siding with him. They told me either one of us would be charged or both of us - I had a CHL, by the way. All the other attorneys told me to wait to find out who would be charged. This past summer I was charged with assault by my ex-wife. I was notified of this through a citation I received in the mail. This charge was brought against me during the time my ex-wife and I were going through the divorce.
