I practice primarliy in criminal law cases and I have tried cases for manslaughter, for which I obtained a NOT GUILTY verdict, all the way to Class C possession cases. My primary focus and a majority of my cases are within the DFW Metroplex, including Tarrant, Dallas and Collin counites. Won my DWI case!

Kent has a very outgoing and professional attitude. When I had some doubt that I might not win my case he made me feel at ease. He is very educated and detail oriented. He knew every aspect of my case and studied the video tapes. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Kent!

Effective lawyer

Mr. Starr was very responsive and informed me of the situation, consequences and how he was going to proceed. I felt he was very effective. I compared notes with other people in my situation and I realized that I had a very qualifed and responsive attorney.

Best Attorney in North Texas!

I would highly recommend attorney Kent Starr! I was in a bound trying to find an attorney for my case called multiple places all of them wanted the full money up front which I could not do, I gave Mr Starr a call he was able to put me on a payment plan it was very helpful! Job more than well done.

Kent Starr went to bat for me with 5 felonies and a brand new assault charge with never a plea- bargain. Set up for trial, and on pre-trial day Kent Starr never quit bargaining for a resolution to avoid trial altogether. That is what Kent Starr did, went in and got me time served on pre-trial day and if that is not good lawyering with a criminal record like mine then I don't know what is. If you are looking and needing a 5 star attorney, then look no farther and hire Kent Starr.

Kent is an absolute BEAST

I was being charged by the state of Texas for a sexual assault felony in which carries a pretty heavy sentence and sure enough when we found Kent we knew he was the guy for us. Because of him my charges were brought down to a misdemeanor with minimal probation and I don’t even need to register as a sex offender! Kent worked an absolute miracle and I would highly recommend for anyone with serious charges or allegations

The absolute best attorney!!!

Fearless and Competent

Before I hired Attorney Starr, I, an African American Black male, was consistently offered 15 years in prison for Man Del CS PG 1G-4G for about two years. Attorney Kent Starr demonstrated competency and a fearless resolve to take my case to court if needed.
