Kent Wade Starr

Normally I would not take the time to post reviews, ever, but how can I not give this Attorney the credit he deserves! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kent Starr, he is not only the best Criminal Defense Attorney, he is a wonderful person! My son was facing 15 to 25 years in prison for 3 c...ounts of engaging in organized criminal activity, 4 counts of delivery of a controlled substance and 1 count of place weapons prohibited and Kent was able to get him 5 years in prison which will run concurrently. My son was on a 10-year probation period which he revoked, so considering all the charges he was facing, 5 years is a major blessing! Kent was always upfront with my son and I from day one, even when he knew it would be hard for me as a mom to hear, and I appreciate that. Believe it or not, there are many Attorneys out there that will tell you what you want to hear and make you believe the best is coming only to be in shock with the outcome and thousands of dollars later, but Kent Starr is not one of those Attorneys. My son is only 22 years old, so thanks to Kent for not giving up and fighting to get him the best deal possible, he still has a chance to live a full life after he is released. I will forever be grateful to Kent Starr for all of his time, efforts, honesty, compassion and most of all, his determination. Thank you, a million times, over!

I was arrested for discharging a firearm in city limits. [allegedly] THEY [police] found no gun on me. In there discovery they said they found one!!!!!!!! I hired MR. STARR. After talking to him on the phone. Ive never hired an attorney in my life!! I was determined to take it all the way to court to... make them produce. This false GUN!! I couldn't afford MR. STARR. court fees im on a pention.. To continue. I was going to have to get a court appointed. We talked about this weeks before! He still fought for me!!!! he had the charges from class A to class C creating a disturbance. Traffic ticket the judge said. They wanted six months probation. MR STARR. had it knocked done to three. Then they wanted $400.00 court. HE went back in and got me time served. NO MONEY NO TIME. I walked out FREE AND DONE!!!!!!!! MR STARR had no more money to make. HE still fought for my life!!!! He's the man (lawyer) to have next to in a fire fight!! Court too! He didn't leave me behind!!!!! Most lawyers would have said no more money. Here you go judge see you latter bud! HE stayed and fought hard for me! I meant more than dollar $$ to him. GOD BLESS in your fight with the so called law. with there false discovery's. Lies. I had a so called friend threw drugs in my car. when we were pulled over. didn't clam it. So guess what. I'm in front of judge. He asked me why cant I pay the fine's. This was a huge amount of crack. how did you afford IT!!!! I looked up straight in his eye's. It wasn't MINE. We have a problem. He said! He saw I was telling the truth! My so called court appointed atty. snuck around me whispered in the judges ear. He would have dropped all charges. She wouldn't have got paid if charges were dropped. As the judge was doing some legal figuring. she (my att) was trying to get me to do 6 month boot camp. I looked at her like she was crazy. she was. the judge believed me!!!! I got I month deferred . no fines misdaminer . don't trust court appointed. thank GOD I found MR. STARR. I don't care if you look me up.
