I was in a rough situation with my ex. After 5 years of being divorced, I learned that she was abusing drugs, and my children were being neglected and put in danger. I immediately called cps based on the reports I was hearing from my children. I also filed for sole custody. When cps came to visit afy...er notifying her beforehand, she was prepared. She had threatened the kids (in the cps report) and forced them into saying things that provoked cps to take the kids from me. She filed abuse charges and a restraining order against me and I lost my kids. This is very easy to do, because with these kind of allegations you are guilty until proven innocent. This is when I contacted Joedy. Long story short, it took over a year and a half, with Joedy helping me the whole way, to get my kids out of that situation and home safe with me. She took on the case, which I'm being told was one of the most complex cases she's had to deal with, being that it went from family court, to criminal court, to cps court, and back to family court, and did exceptionally well in helping guide me through all the roadblocks and obstacles. She took the case to a personal level, and I coukd really tell that she actually cared for the best interest of my children as well as myself. She helped find me a criminal lawyer, and walked me through all the steps to getting my kids back. She is very honest and very helpful, and for a little lady she really can get very aggressive when needed. I would recommend Joedy to anyone having issues and needing a lawyer in a family case. She is a true professional. My family is so thankful to be back together and it couldn't have been done without her help.
