Joedy was supportive, knowledgeable, made excellent recommendations, and definitely represented my best interest during the negotiations. I am very grateful to have her as my lawyer during these challenging times. She is a first rate divorce attorney.

Handled my child support and visitation case

Joedy Thurston is very straight forward and doesn't mess around. She was very communicative and direct with the plan of action. It did take a while for the courts to set a date, but that wasn't because of her. She and her team worked tirelessly to make sure we had all we needed to move forward. I do ...truly appreciate the time and effort she put into my situation. The entire office staff was a delight to work with, from the receptionist to the billing staff. Absolutely no complaints. On the "big day" she came prepared and ready to go, the other party didn't appear so I didn't get to see her in full action, but again, I know she was prepared and had no doubt in my mind we could accomplish our goal even if the other party had appeared. Thank you, Joedy, for all of your hard work. I will definitely recommend you to others!

Strategic and Assertive

There's no such thing as a good custody battle and in the end the children are the true victims. However, knowing that Joedy was on the job gave me a tremendous amount of comfort. She took a very difficult situation and turned it around. Joedy is very strategic and assertive; she knows exactly wh...en to be patient and when to add pressure. Her correspondence with opposing counsel was firm yet professional and her paralegal (Barbara) is amazing! Without this team I would have fallen apart, she definitely kept me calm and her confidence gave me the strength to endure immeasurable hardships in a high conflict environment. Thank you Joedy, you are a warrior and because of your hard work and diligence I get to be a Dad and not just a visitor.

No time to play lawyer

Joedy was a straight shooter from the beginning. With the moving pieces in our situation, Joedy was able to get a handle to what the target was. She won't sugar coat anything to give you false hope and I we appreciated that. She also showed her soft side with us and made sure to keep our spirits up. ...My family truly thank Joedy Thurston for her hard work.

Review/Recommendation

Joedy is a straight shooter who will let you know up front what she expects of you and if you even have a case. Her honesty and integrity are of the highest caliber. I have been fighting an 8-year custody battle for my little girl and I had some irregularities in my case that Joedy was able to help ...me out with and provide the knowledge that I needed to make sound decisions when it came to this case. I let Joedy take command over this case as I was wore out from the fight. She is a great asset to have on your side and I would highly recommend Joedy to anyone having issues with child custody/child support.
