The light house I needed..

I was trapped in an abusive relationship with my ex-husband; scared to leave because I was his victim. Joedy was the only lawyer who made me feel secure with my decision to leave and illuminated my rights. From my first meeting with her, she was diligent and thought 30+ steps ahead of my ex-husband. ...She cut through his manipulative and controlling behavior to address the real issues, my safety and security. She dealt with an unreasonable man, in the most respectful way, from a place of strength. During this process my ex-husband learned a lot of lesions regarding strong, independent, smart and resilient women; not only from my leaving him, but through his interaction with her. Every time I needed her, she was there; no questions. During the negotiation phase of my divorce, she was outstanding with her skillful ability to navigate what seemed like impassable problems, find creative solutions, and stood resolute with my decisions. Regardless of my emotional state, she counseled me by telling me what I needed to hear, not always what I wanted to hear. Joedy was there even after the divorce decree was signed and my ex-husband tried to manipulate me into renegotiating. In a markedly difficult situation she performed above and beyond what I thought any lawyer would do. I am privileged to have had her as my representation and know that she will continue illuminate rights to those who think they don’t have them. Thank you Joedy!
